This hotel is very nice, has a great, helpful staff who are fluent in English, and is out of the Rome tourist area. We stayed 4 nights. At first, we were disappointed in the location, because contrary to the advertisements, it is NOT close to the Vatican or other attractions. By the time we left, we were very pleased with our hotel selection. A very nice buffet breakfast is included; full dinners are available in house, with full bar; all hotel staff are very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful in all ways; rooms are tastefully decorated; and, it is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Taxis are very accessible. Most attractions are about 20-25 minutes away (about $18.00 Euros). Tours can be easily arranged through the consierge and include free transportation to and from the tour starting point. Make sure you eat at La Sisteremma at least once--ask for directions. It IS an experience!!
