“Handy Location and Clean Room in a 3rd Floor Building”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

We stayed here for 4 nights in September and found the location to be handy. There are bus hears by and St Peters Basillica is a five minute walk away, unfortunately we did not have a view of this from our room.
The room was clean and modern, with a TV (BBC World is the only English channel). You can hear people coming and going at all times, the rooms do not block much noise. Breakfast smells delicious and is served on a cart in your room- very simple offering. Miriam is very welcoming.

The major downside for us was the difficulty opening the external building door- twice we had to be let in by a neighbour. As the staff do not stay in the apartments, there is noone on site after the morning. Although they can be reached via telephone.

We rented this apartment (turned into hotel room) from Miriam for a couple nights and had an excellent experience. Miriam was so accommodating. She provided us with an amazing breakfast each morning and provided us with assistance in carrying our bags up to the 3rd floor. I thought that this would be an issue, but it was trivial in comparison to the service, comfort and location of this apartment. We truly enjoyed our stay in Rome. Thank you, Miriam!

Stayed here for 2 nights and couldn't wait to leave!
Every night we could hear not only the other people staying there but the residents in the 5 story building were very noisy, including there dogs and until all hours of the morning!
Bed was hard, pillows lumpy. This is far from a hotel as it is stated it is 3 rooms on the 4th floor of a dirty, building. It also says it is in an ancient palace, which may be the case but there is far from any evidence left of a palace. Great location for Vatican City but I felt unsafe walking by myself in this area of Rome.
The view that is stated on the website also says views of Vatican, our view was looking over the top of a building surrounded by 200 other little balconys and windows of residence, so even though we had a balcony you wouldn't go out on it.

My girlfriend and i stayed here for couple nights. It was one of the most amazing stays. Hotels location is fantastic for the Vatican and St. Peters Square. Also, within few minutes to San piretro and castel sant angelo. My rooms were very clean and the stuff were amazing especially (Miriam). She made our stay unforgettable by providing us all the assistance that we needed. Definitely one of my top choices when i will return to Rome

My friend and I staid there for 2 nights. Everything was perfect. We could see the cupola of St Peter from our room (location great). In the morning our room smelled of freshly brewed coffee and Croissants (breakfast great). Marco was very helpful and kind (great service). What is left to say ? Spacious bathroom, Good Wifi, cable flat Screen TV, comfortable bed. See you soon !

Hotels location is fantastic for the Vatican and St. Peters Square. The square is literally a 2 minute walk across the street from the hotel. Yes it is on the 3rd floor of an apartment block and there is no lift but dont let that spoil it. The hotel only has 3 rooms we were in the one facing the street with a fantastic view of the cupola of St Peters Basilica. The room was spotlessly clean well furnished and big enough. The bathroom as well presented, clean and had lots of clean towels. Rooms are cleaned everyday but we chose not to as we were only there 3 days. The hotel owners were extremely friendly and helpful. I celebrated my 30th birthday whilst there and received a complementary bottle of Prosecco with my breakfast, a lovely gesture. Breakfast is continental and is served to your hotel room door at your chosen time between 7:30-9:30am. Again lots of food on the trolley. The minibar was cheap to about 2.5euro for a beer and wine. If you want good location and clean nice surroundings its the place to stay.

Room Tip: room at front has good views but road is busy. If your a light sleeper ask for a room at the back
