The large number of well dressed locals eating in family groups at this restaurant, on a Tuesday night, spoke volumes. The manager whose English was far better than our Italian, took care of us. A variety of breads arrived swiftly. The Antipasto and salad courses were set out in a chiller cabinet and were delicious. The choice of main courses was not extensive but proved to be excellent. There was also a range of delicious pasta dishes (of which my wife had one, the best spaghetti she has ever been served).
Wine, by the glass, proved to be very palatable. The meal was not cheap and cheerful but entirely acceptable for a slightly up-market capital city restaurant.
