“Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

A great location, reasonable (by Rome standards) rates. Friendly/helpful staff (who speak English well), did I mention a great location. The rooms were nice and large enough (by Italian standards). The Pantheon is close enough that I walked there while eating an apple, and still had apple to eat when I arrived.

This hotel is located within a 1 minute walk from Piazza Navona, which was a great place to spend your evenings for dinner or people watching. Everything else, however, was poor compared to the 4 other hotels we stayed in Italy. The service was generally poor at the front desk. No assistance with our luggage was offered, even though I was 5 months pregnant and no elevator was available in the building. The room was tiny, by European standards. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Dear Customer, We are one of the best hotels in the center of Rome in relation to price . We are in the heart of Rome in a very old building and we can not have as standard a newly built hotel . Our hotel is located in the city center in a very old building and is classified as Historic Residence , we do not have a lift but our guys are always happy to help our guests with luggage on arrival and departure . All rooms have been recently renovated and each one of them has special characteristics that back to the past , coffered ceilings , arches, ancient walls , to provide our guests with maximum comfort. All rooms have mini bar, safe , wi -fi and flat screen TV . The rooms are of different types, from the economy room at low cost and small size of the superior room wider . We hope to host you again , and we invite you to choose the room on our website where you can find the best deals and special packages , where one can see the different types of rooms. Best Regards

Just of a main street in Rome, but very quiet. Everything you would expect of a much more expensive hotel. Free wifi, massive bathroom and air-con. Close to most of Rome's attractions and the cafe 50 metres from the front door was fantastic. Will stay again.

Dear Guest, i wish to thank you for your kind feedback, with all the gratitude for your kind words. Most of our rooms are different in size and style of the room, all recently renovated. Situated very centrally in one of the nicest parts of Rome. We opted out of breakfast with the exception of our last day and was very pleasently suprised.
Very clean. Friendly & helpful staff. Rooms are basic enough but it's to be expected in this location at this price.
To sum it up, I would go back to this hotel and I think that is saying enough.

Dear Guest a big thank you for your wonderful review. We are in a very old building and the rooms are the result of careful restoration respecting the history of the place, why some are smaller than others, but all offer standardized comfort with mini bar, wi-fi, flat screen TV , safe and private bathroom. We are in a beautiful location in the heart of Rome near the most important monuments of the city and is very easy to get back to the hotel for a short break. We invite you to visit our website to take advantage of great rates reserved for our best customers. We hope to see you soon again in Rome. Best Regards.

Location wise this was absolutely perfect, close to both Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. We walked each day of our trip, so it was very centrally located for visits to most sights.
The hotel itself is based on the 2nd floor, but the staff will help with (heavy) bags. We stayed on the 4th floor, like a small apartment. It was a beautiful room. Only one small complaint was the bathroom, there was quite a strong smell coming in, and the shower water did not drain away very quickly. Also, the hotel were happy to organise a taxi straight to Fiumicino/Leonarda DaVinci airport, this cost us €45 which was an excellent price, the car picked us up on time outside the hotel and dropped us off (in half an hour) outside our terminal. Overall we had a fantastic stay in Hotel Navona and would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Rome!

This was the most perfect place to stay if you want to go touring around all the main sites in Rome. Firstly, it's location! Wow. Right in the middle of everything. We actually walked to the Vatican and the Colosseum - all the other key sites were within much easier walking distance. Secondly, I couldn't rate the staff more highly. No matter what our query, they were able to help and they were so pleasant. We didn't pre-order breakfast beforehand, but when we got there, we found that it was better value to eat breakfast at the hotel and be ready for the day ahead than to go elsewhere. The room was relatively small, but very very clean and very quiet as well, so we had great sleeps! Absolutely brillilant.

Room Tip: Book a room at the back - it's lovely and quiet.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with each and every question we had. The accommodations were perfect, clean comfortable safe and reasonably priced. The nearby piazza Navona is convenient for dinner and evening strolls, bus access very close and the Trevi fountain and other sights are within walking distance.
