This is the second hotel I stayed at in Rome - the other one was over near Barberini. This one is preferrable. It was nice, clean and spartan and excellent for the price. Fabulous location for nightlife - away from the crowds of tourists (although enough of them around) and with lots of locals. Great base for being a tourist too. Felt safe for a single female traveller. Very cool in summer with air conditioning and tiled floors. Close to transport and major tourist attractions. Great area. Would stay here again if I go to Rome.

It was excellent!!! quiet, quaint, in the heart of the neighborhood. A few blocks from the bus stop. Bookstore, bars, laundromat, movie house, stores, fresh fruit market and several outdoor cafes a few steps away from the Inn. Not far from the vatican, the colusieum, St. Peters Square and other tourist spots. A bus ride from the Italian Open Tennis Tournament. The staff was warm, friendly, accomodating and they spoke english. The inn was quiet, our room was perfect, but would like to have a refrigerator and maybe a television combo VCR. Breakfast in the morning was light, no heavy meals. Cereal, toast yogurt and milk. This inn was a life saver, our reservations never made it to our first choice and a friend put the room on hold for us. We are going back to Rome again this year and we will stay at our home away from home. One downside, we had to be out of our room at 10am so it could be cleaned so we couldnt' sleep in.

The Sisters and staff were extremely nice. The chapels for prayer were stunningly beautiful and prayerful. The location is excellent in Tras Tevere, walking distance from the Vatican and other interesting places. The price was reasonable. The breakfast was delicious and gave a variety. The breakfast room was very pleasant. I took a group of pilgrims to this place and we will probably book the next pilgrimage to Rome at Casa San Giuseppe. I hope to spend a few days there on a personal trip next month.
