Went to rome last year and loved it so much took the whole family thks year as a party of 8 of us including teenagers. The kids priority is the trevi fountain, but when finished, put it behind you and head back to the main road and go straight over and you will end up at the pantheon after passing the remains of a beautiful temples columns on the way. This route is also lined with cheap restaurants and taverns but unless youre rich resist eating in the palazzo overlooking the pantheon as you will really pay a premium. Most of our party couldnt belive this building was built 1900 yars ago its still so pristine and such a good looking iconic building. One you really have to visit and is totally free. Btw check out the bronze doors of the building, most miss them as they are pushed open
