“Perfect for a couple staying in Rome for a few days”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

I thought that this was a great place to stay for a few days. We stayed here two nights.

Really lovely hospitality (Francesca was really nice with us) and very comfortable room (a lot of space and great bed), conveniently located (right next to the train station). Perfetto!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Aurelio Aquilone B&B on 2 separate occassions on my recent travels to Italy and found it to be excellent . It has 3 rooms which are very clean with interesting decor and lots of resources in order to find information on ROME. It is a very comfortable place to base yourself, is close to the Vatican and very easy to get in and out of the city centre as is close to Metro and buses. One of the greatest things that comes with this B&B is Francesca who offers a very warm welcome to Rome, is very friendly and accommodating, provides a fantastic flexible breakfast, gives easy directions to finding local restaruants within walking distance to sample good Italian fare at good prices and helped to make my stay in Rome a very enjoyable experience in an authentic Italian apartment setting. I would happily recommend it to anyone wanting a good priced B&B/accommodation in order to explore Rome - you won't be dissapointed.

This B & B is excellent. Francesca is so warm and inviting and so helpful. Her advice was invaluable in helping me see the sights of Rome in a few short days. The place is very clean and thoughtfully furnished. You could want for nothing. There is plenty to choose from for breakfast and there are also snacks available whenever you like. It's one minute from the metro or I even walked to the Vatican which took about 25 minutes. A perfect base to explore Rome from!

The Aurelio Aquilone B&B is a lovely, comfortable B&B in a great location for sightseeing. Just a few minutes walk from the metro, it is easy to get around and see all of Rome's sights from this base, and it's great to be able to come back to and relax before hitting the town again for the evening. Francesca gives a warm welcome and the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable.
I will be going back!

This being our 1st visit in Rome, we required somewhere handy to Rome Central for sight seeing. Francesca's B&B was perfect. Just outside of Central Rome, 1 minute walk to the Metro (train) station, short ride into Rome, the location was great. Local to the B&B, there was restaurants, icecream (gelateria) shops, phone shops, ATM's (banco mat), chemists (farmacia) etc.. Our room the Hammam? Suite wich had a private bathroom, was excellent, especially the shower! Francesca help was invaluable, she helped us with transfers and bookings. There was plenty of options for breakfast as well as snacks and coffee available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and when in Rome we will stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose one with a private bathroom/ensuite.

This is the best B&B ever! Superb service and my room was immaculate. Similar standard to a 5 star hotel room in my humble opinion. Francesca, the owner made me feel at home and suggested great restaurants in the city centre. She even helped me plan my stay - I couldn't ask for more really!

As for the B&B, it is conveniently located in the suburbs, not far from the city centre and just two-minute walk from Baldo D. Ubaldi Metro station. There is also direct bus service to the city centre or if you prefer walking it's just 15 minutes away. This is an excellent choice for anyone wanting a central location without the premium price tag of the larger hotels. Breakfast was great as well (home-made cookies, yogurts, fruits, cereals, etc - I was spoilt for choice)!

All in all, I loved my stay in Rome and it was made a lot nicer by the great host. Highly recommended!

This was my second visit to Italy and this B&B was by far my favorite place to stay in all of Italy. Our experience at Francesca's was absolutely delightful and one of the first things I talked about upon my return back home. By staying in a more residential area that had easy access by train and bus to any part of the city, it gave us the greatest experience in Rome. Francesca was so personable and helpful. Not only did she provide a comfortable and safe place to stay, the amenities were priceless and her hospitality was one of a kind. Not only did Francesca arrange a taxi for me to the airport, she made sure that the driver would not overcharge me. I greatly appreciate her kindness and all of her great recommendations. I can't wait to visit again and stay at Aurelio Aquiline B&B. Thank you from Mary in Milwaukee, WI
