“Tasty and good value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

Very tasty and good value for a Japanese resturant. Try the all you can eat and check up all the dishes that interest you. The location is very close to termini station so it is very easy to get there.

“Service Fast, Food Poor Quality”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

I got seated immediately. The waitress was incredibly friendly. I got my order in less than 5 minutes of having placed it. In most cases fast service is a plus, in this case it showed in the poor quality of the food.

Japanese food (as any other food) should take time to make. But it's no surprise that our food came out so fast - all the prep work is clearly done beforehand, with mountains and mountains af plasticc-wrapped rolls on the countertop waiting to be served. Who knows what time of day they were made.

Our rolls were somewhat tasty but very processed-like and were falling apart.
Tempura was hot and very good.
Noodles were untouchably soggy and canned-like. Just the look of them helped you understand the most-likely worn state of the pot it was once cooked in.

I opted for the buffet. Maybe ordering non-ready-made-buffet style would change things.
Bottom-line don't do the buffet unless you simply want to eat an enormous amount of below-average processed Japanese food.

There's much better out there.

“..It's not a real japanese.. but good afterall!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2012

A far cry from being called a real japanese restaurant.. but in the end it's good and you can eat tasty food at a reasonable price with the "all you can eat" formula. Crispy tempura and a not bad sashimi and sushi and a tasty teriyaki to try with the classic asahi beer. All in all is good, cheap and easy going.

“If you are really tired of pasta and pizza”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2011

We tried this sushi place on our last night in Rome to give ourselves a break from Italian food as we have been in the country for two weeks and we have two more week to go with plenty of fab Italian food awaiting us. The price is ok although they try to sell drinks a lot as they are not included and watch out for the desserts as they seem pricey. The food was ok and some of the things we tried were not to bad but I agree the quality is still of a food court stall. The decor inside the place is actually nice and pleasant and I guess for the price you pay, you cannot expect the best and freshest food, so it was ok and we felt we a had a good feed. After all we made good use of the all you can eat fixed price. They are advertising a lot on the metro tv screens, so they do get busy which in a way guarantees the freshness of the food as it gets consumed a lot. The quality of it it is debatable but was fine for us. Service is good
We had various dishes and only drank water to keep the overall cost down. 19.95 each Euros is ok if want a break from pasta and pizza :)

“Everything was perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2011

Very excellent and fresh food, a real Sushi and other japanese food buffet, unlimited for 16,90€ for lunch and 19,90€ at dinner time. Plenty of different shushi, sashimi, japanese salads, etc... All the staff is very helplful and kind, we went several times with my wife and the kids, simply our best japanese restaurant experience !!
