“Lavish Laterano”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

Yet another lavish , ornate church filled with sculptures, statues and wonderfully painted ceilings. Visit the Cloisters for an extra fee to see some of the oldest relics. Again words can't describe the beauty. Be sure to get at least a postcard or pamplet as photos , if allowed with never do it justice

“Nice”

Big square near the Basilica. And inside everything is beautiful. But that is too dark to take good photos.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

the scultues, the decor, ceiling were wonderful

not packed with queus like st peters

quite with seats to look at the ceiling and just drink in the atposphere

the extrance with its massive sculptures on top plus portico facing was very impressive.

“Size is impressive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

Not too far to walk to from the Colluseum up the hill. A large church - the second inside Rome city I think, but is spoiled by its surroundings. Based in what could be impressive gardens and a pallazo, is now an area for down and outs and alcoholics sadly
