what a lovely old world place this is. they could not have been more helpful and we loved our breakfast. yes, it is very expensive but I don't go to Rome often and the location of the Eden is perfect.

This was our first stop in Europe and upon arriving we were greeted by the friendly staff. Although our flight arrived early in the morning, our room was ready and they allowed us to check-in early. The lobby was very nice and overall the property was clean, quiet, and classic. I would recommend the hotel, however the bar/restaurant at the hotel was extremely pricey and would suggest dining elsewhere.

I'm in Rome typically yearly and I've stayed twice at Eden Hotel. The first time I was on the 3rd floor facing the gardens and it was WONDERFUL. This past trip I was on the first floor just above the storage room (room 107). It was extremely loud due to the noise underneath and woke me up on a regular basis. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff is impecible and the location can't be beat. I will certainly return to the hotel but I will try not to stay on the 1st floor again.

Room Tip: Ensure you're not on the 1st floor (rooms 104, 105, 106, 107) or the same floor as the spa and I...

This hotel was pure Italian Luxury. The decor, the staff and the room were all five stars. Located a little bit out of the center, it should not pose a problem once you return to the quiet of the hotel after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast was a little pricey...about 70 euros per person. The American newlywed couple complaining about their eggs didn't help either! But the view made up for it.
You are close to the Via Vittorio Veneto which has all the posh shops and restaurants you will ever need.
If planning a honeymoon to Rome...Eden will not let you down.

Room Tip: Breakfast is pricey! Act like a local and venture out to cafe. There are numerous options just outsi...

Friendly staff, helpfull concierge, elegant lobby, the best martini and gourmet dinning on the top floor. The excellent location allowed us to "discover" the sorroundings of the Spanish Steps area. Our room on the fith floor was comfortable and had a view of the "tip" of the Vatican. We certainly recommend it and look forwrad to our next visit.

The location is everything about this hotel, a short walk from the Spanish Steps and not far from the Borghese Gardens. The reception staff were courteous and formal. The concierge is charming and efficient. Ask for recommendations, and you'll be well guided. The atmosphere is slightly more 'international hotel', and less old-style Rome than we had hoped. Rooms are clean, generous and well fitted, though we asked for a quieter room and so found ourselves looking into the light well. If you want views, you risk the noise, but we would do that then next time.
The great plus here is that fabulous roof restaurant and terrace. You have views over a Rome that dreams are made of, past the grand villas and on towards the Forum, the Vatican...everything. None of this comes cheap, but it is worth the cash for the luxurious location with a glass of champagne at cocktail hour; or a pot of coffee at breakfast - to plan your day with the guide book and look up to chart your route.
A great base for a long weekend stay, but not necessarily a hotel to hang out in.

Room Tip: Think about asking for a room with a view, but choose a higher floor because of street noise

Very comfortable. Great location, close enough to walk to most sites but on a quiet side street. Staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. View from our 5th floor room was terrific. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the view from the restaurant can't be beat. Only complaint was that the internet connection was slow.

Room Tip: ask for a room on the 5th floor with a view of the city
