“Used to be better until floods brought the plastic bags”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Now the trees along the side are littered with plastic bags. I go down to the rive about once a week and now it literally turns my stomach to be down there. Sad.

“Filthy”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

The Tibet could be the way to make Rome perfect - the cherry on the cake. Instead, it's left to itself. Filthy and dark, stinks and ruins the environment for locals and tourists alike.

“Tiber Shops”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

Go to those white tents along the Tiber River. We found the best prices there for souvenirs and kept thinking we'd find time to go back but didn't so buy while there. Reasonably priced food too

“great place to run”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

Go there on a Sunday morning around 8AM to see the steam rising as the sun heats the water up. With some like you will hear/see an accordion player.

“The mighty Tiber”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

We visited the River Tiber at night and walked along the riverside and over the bridge that leads to the Castle D`Angelo, all the beautiful ornate lighting with their twinkling lights looked wonderfull the river looked very nice with all sorts of water craft tied up and when we stood on the bridge the lights reflected into the flowing water and it gave a wonderfull feeling of tranquility.
