“Polite, professional, clean and central”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Don't bother looking anywhere else. This hotel is 3 stars rated but should definitely be 4.
A step away from the Pantheon and one of the most beautiful area in Rome.
The staff is super polite, professional and helpful. 4 stars breakfast, free and fast wifi.
The room is big enough, very clean and upper standards. Absolutely recommended and yes I will go back there again and again

Room Tip: Higher floors have a better view but are more expensive

The location of this hotel is right in the heart of things in Rome. By upgrading to a deluxe room we were overlooking the piazza and the Pantheon. The piazza is filled with restaurants, and very talented street musicians attract crowds to hear them perform. We had front row seats from the balcony in our room. While we loved it, I would recommend requesting a room not facing the piazza if you want a quieter location. The hotel has a rooftop bar which we visited, but because of rain were unable to enjoy. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful, providing directions and making recommendations for dining options. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Rome

We have been coming to this hotel for a few years now, having tried other, grander hotels in the past. It is comfortable and welcoming and has the most lovely atmosphere, a quality that is hard to define but must have to do with the fact that it run by people who seem to know what visitors want. Therefore there are no pointless formalities (like having to give your room number at breakfast) and no notices - if you need to know anything you just ask the delightful staff, most of whom seem to have worked in the hotel for many years and who are so knowledgable and helpful.
The rooms are not large, but they are attractive, with beautiful damask wall coverings, large comfortable beds and good lighting. Everything works, too, both in the rooms and the bathrooms.
At breakfast, the spread is more varied and of better quality than you would expect in a hotel with three-star rating like this.
Finally, of course, there is the location, right in the heart of the loveliest area of the city. And when you open your shutters in the morning (if you have a room looking on to the piazza) or when you go out the front door, there is the Pantheon in front of you, and you just smile and count your blessings for being able to stay in this lovely place.

Room Tip: Superior rooms on the sixth floor have little foot balconies.

lovely hotel, warm and comfortable, friendly people. Lots of small local "non-touristry" restaurants in the locale. Atmospheric ancient square at the door with lots of activity. We had a sixth floor room with balcony Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and would recommend this hotel highly.

Very nice hotel. Great rooms. Small, but great. And who goes to Rome just to hang out in the room the whole time? The breakfast was your usual free hotel breakfast. Nothing mind blowing.
What is mind blowing in the location and THAT VIEW. Seriously, it's so cool to open your window and look at the Pantheon. You feel like you can touch it.
The location makes it completely worth it. We stayed at the Albergo del Senato for the first 4 night and then the Marriott Grand Hotel Flora for 3 nights (because Marriott points). While the rooms at the Marriott were at least twice as big, our Roman experience was much better at Albergo del Senatio because we could just walk out our hotel door and already be in the heart of everything. You don't want to have to trek across town to start or end your day.
And again, THAT VIEW...

I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again. The hotel was clean. The staff was eager to help. They even printed emails for me. I cannot say enough about the staff and the quality of the hotel. The location was excellent. The view was fantastic. Chocolates on our pillow at night. The room was modern and well appointed. The location was wonderful. We where able to walk to many destinations

Of course we had a good stay at this property; doesn't everyone?....I took 1 star off above & its really not the hotel's fault at all but in all fairness, I think the time of year that we visited prevented us from enjoying some of the aspects of the property i.e. rooftop in particular. It rained tons when we were in Rome and it definitely took away from enjoying the rooftop. It was also chilly. I had read rave reviews & friends stayed in a huge suite here so our expectations were very high (maybe too high?) Our room was quite basic but fully adequate. No view from our standard room...we were over a vent from the kitchen so various odors were quite strong...never really bad orders but often burnt toast from the breakfast. It is breathtaking walking out the front of the hotel directly facing the Pantheon & Piazza....always music & activity out there. From the hotel we strolled down toward the coliseum & of course, there were many wonderful restaurants & cafes near the hotel. I would love to visit during spring or summer to enjoy the rooftop!

Room Tip: Our basic room had no view so if you want a view, must book higher room types.
