“In Love”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

Won't even lie, I'm just in love with Rome, city of magic and Lemon granita....Piazza Venezia is WARM but so atmospheric and right central, so you can see everything and it looks so....italian, to avoid sounding like a stereotype lover, but i do love a stereotype, it makes the city real

“See a lot quickly in one place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

This is a key location to see and get to many sights to include Capital Hill, the Roman Forum, Colosseum and the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II. We enjoyed it because we didn't have time to go into every place, but got a great view of them. Very busy and crowded with lots of street vendors.

“great for people watching and spectacular views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

Great place to sit in evenings to people watch and during day you can go inside and there is a war museum plus a lovely cafe which is reasonably priced. You must also take the panoramic lift up to the top as the views are great you can see for miles. Free entry but the lift is 8 euros money well spent

“Piazza Venezia”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

This is an amazing sight as it's such a huge structure as you drive towards it and look at a distance especially a night with the lights. It's a Roma landmark tha needs to be added in your tour.

“Nice square with space in the middle to watch the world go by”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

With so many nice buildings around it, it is certainly worthwhile making sure you have a wonder through on your walks through Rome. There is a nice space in the middle with good photo opportunities with the Vittorio Emmanual II Monument behind. Also great to stand and watch the traffic 'conductors' in full flow.
