“Nice stroll through time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2015 NEW

Get your ticket for the forum and colosseum at the Palatine hill entrance to avoid long lines. Then walk the hill, enjoy the views and small interesting museum. Well explained signage in English. Bring Roman history to life

“history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2015 NEW

If you enjoy history this is a must see. Due to time we only had 1 1/2 hours here but could have stayed longer.

“A wee bit of peace and quiet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2015 NEW

God but it was good to get away from shouting kids and slow witted tourists !! The forum was an horrendous entrance and the crowds make it very difficult yo make sense of what you see. The short walk up the hill brought a new dimension to the Forum with great views and a different perspective on what the whole area was about -- and yes the silence !!

“A lovely park with plenty to do and great views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2015 NEW

You can hire segways, bikes, go-cart, rowing boats, 4 person bikes, so plenty to do. Lots of sculptures to look at and great views of Rome. There is a also a beautiful looking restaurant there which is fine dining so we didn't stop. If you've got the money I would say this restaurant would be top of the list. Nice to have some peace and quiet after a busy few days sightseeing.

“It's a hill”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2015 NEW

Viewed the forum which is amazing, then walked up this erm hill. It's ok, part of the rome experience, but once you've seen the forum this is nothing but a hill.
