A little more than two-weeks in Europe, we finally arrived in the eternal city, and a little tired. But we were immediately embraced into this peaceful and beautiful B&B. I guess travelers choose this B&B for a reason - when you walk out, you are in a friendly neighborhood where local kids play football in the park and older folks sipping coffee at the local cafe along the street. That's what we wanted at the end of our trip.

The room was beautiful and well attended to. It was really nice speaking to the owner Antonella. Neelam was of great help to us. I really enjoyed chatting with him in the morning and he attended to all our requests.

Great stay in Rome.

Rome was the last stop on our 3 week vacation and we were pleasantly surprised by this B & B. We had stayed at 3 others, but this one was the creme de la creme. Philippe greeted us when we arrived and directed 4 very hungry people to a nice nearby restaurant (Pepe Verde) where we had a delightful meal. We met Neelam at breakfast in the dining room the next morning. He had set up a very nice table with some appetizing choices and served us a great coffee with hot milk. Next to the dining room was a small but well equipped kitchen with a bar fridge that was stocked with complimentary juices, bottled water and gave us room to store our own beverages. We had our subsequent breakfasts outside an a covered terrace. This space was so inviting, and made our breakfast experience even more enjoyable. I will attach a photo.
We do not use public transit very often, but caught on to their system rather quickly. To get to the Colosseum, we took a bus from a nearby bustop on Via Nomentana to the Termini (a large bus/subway station), where we transferred to the Metro Blue subway and 2 stops later we were there. About a 20 min trip using public transit or a 1 hr walk. The decor and lighting of the residence created a very comfortable aura and we felt very relaxed and safe staying here. The house itself is a magnificent 3 1/2 or 4 storey building that was renovated about 3 years ago. The property is gated and very secure. We felt safe coming and going through the surrounding area, which included a park. Also there is a market on via Zara about 2 blocks away. Our booking arrangements were through Antonella who also offered to arrange for a limo service to take us to the airport on the day of our departure. Excellent B & B, management and staff. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We arrived on a rainy Sunday evening to this wonderful B&B after a lost/stolen bag at Rome Termini for a 4 night stay. The frustration we suffered was replaced by peace knowing that we had made a very good choice based on other reviews. This was our first time in Rome and we felt safe walking around the neighborhood. We were happy to open the windows and see the lush landscape around us. It was rather cool in May. We were welcomed by Antonella and her son who soon explained to us the bus routes close to the b&b. Antonella helped us in getting our Vatican vouchers printed as we had lost them. We were so greatful for this. The breakfast prepared by Neelam were really good. He made us sandwiches which helped start the busy day and the coffee was so good. On our last day, we had arranged for a driver to take us to the airport and Neelam was very gracious on making sandwiches to go at 7 am. After doing all the sights and being in the bustling city center it was always nice to come back to peace and quiet.
The only thing I have to say is the bathroom shower was really small even for me (I'm petite 5'0") and couple times the hot water went out. We would stay at this b&b again.

We have been to Rorme several times and tried a good number of hotels, but Villa Paganini B&B beats them all! The location is perfect: not far from the historic city center and still immersed in an oasis of green. We had a great, quiet sleep and we woke up with the singing of the birds - incredibe in a city like Rome! The breakfast was also above our expectations with fresh criossants, homemade biscuits, plenty of marmelades, cereals, and freshly brewed Italian coffee. We really felt at home and, no doubt, when we pass by Rome again we will stay at Villa Paganini!
