“Unbeatable luxury!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

This has been our second stay in this hotel.
As previously we chose an Imperial room and finally became very happy with our choice. However, before the travel I was a bit upset that I did not choose another hotel in the city centre for the same price.
However, the more we were staying in the hotel the more I was convincing that our choice was correct! First of all, this is the Imperial floor which gives you an access not only to breakfast but also to snacks and drinks throughout the day as well as to light dinner and after dinner drinks and coffees! Secondly, it takes maximum 20 minutes to get to the city centre by the hotel shuttle or by taxi (even faster) and the cost for a taxi ride to any destination in the city was not always more than EUR 15 - the price you could afford, I believe, if you stay in a 5 star hotel. In exchange of it you get an exceptional service and the luxurious hospitality of one of the best hotels in Europe! Moreover, sometimes it is not a very bad idea to return to a quite place from the bustling city centre! In addition, there is quite a big hotel park walking in which is a great pleasure as well.
This is one of a few hotels among numerous hotels around the world, which I have stayed in, that I did not want to leave!
Next time when we are in Rome we will not think about another option and definitely book the same hotel - Roma Cavalieri!!

“Great way to end our trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at the Rome Cavalieri on the last stop of our 2 week European vacation to celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary. Our room was on the Imperial Floor with a view of Rome.

We arrived on the evening of 3/13, just before the new Pope was identified. From our balcony you could hear the bells ringing throughout Rome.

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The added touch of the robe and slippers was nice, but to cone back to the room to see the bed turned down, chocolates on the pillow, water on the nightstand ans the slippers laid out was awesome!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Imperial Lounge. It was a great place to relax, retool and plan our next day's excursions. The view of Rome from the balcony is stunning.

The breakfast buffett is something to behold. I have never had so many honey options. And dinner in Iluveto was delicious!

Rome was packed because of the festivities with the new Pope. Retreating back to the hotel was refreshing. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Rome.

“Luxurious quiet hotel on edge of city with magnificent views over the Vatican and Rome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Came to Rome for first time and chose Cavalieri on outskirts of main centre as looking for luxury stay and room size was large and services comprehensive compared with other five star hotels in centre of Rome.Although out of central Rome Hotel laid on free coach shuttle which was punctual and quick (20mins) .View over Rome and the Vatican in particular from large , quiet and luxurious room was priceless. Breakfast was excellent with variety for all nationalities and tastes including champagne and smoked salmon!Only downside was casual dining options which were at the lounge bar and were somewhat expensive (£20 for a sandwich - £15 for glass of wine) so suggest chose half board option if you are wanting to eat at the hotel. Otherwise great experience.

Room Tip: Rome view over Vatican are priceless

“Great hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Great all-round hotel with wonderful spa and helpful, friendly staff. Sabrina on reception was particularly helpful. Useful free shuttle to the centre of Rome is driven by the very efficient and courteous Massimilian. The view of Rome from the hotel is amazing - will be returning for the same experience in summer. The only disappointment was the temperature of breakfast - although the food was fantastic with a great selection, the plates were cold and food only warm - sort this one fault out and I would give this hotel 100%. Soundproofing door and shutters in the room along with a pillow menu made it a fantastic quality sleeping experience!

Room Tip: Go for the rooms with a view of Rome for a special experience

“fantastic hotel but shame about our view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

A reallly briliant hotel but very dissappointed about the location of our room. I booked a Rome view on the imperial floor because I wanted a fantastic view of rome You have to pay extra for the Rome view. Got a room with a tree blocking some of the view and work going on in the room about two rooms down which was quite noisy at times, with workmen going in and out of the room. The room and the hotel itself however was excellent. What a shame!!!

Dear Guest,

We would like to thank you for taking the time to submit a review regarding your stay.

We regret reading of your impressions regarding the view from your room, indeed it was a Rome view room, but there are some trees on parts of our garden grounds. We hope you have enjoyed the full view from the Imperial Club during your stay and that our staff, services & facilities met your expectations.

Looking forward to welcoming you back on a future occasion.
