Totally amazing. Be sure to throw some change in the fountain as it means you will return to Rome at some point. A number of great little restaurants and cafes surrounding the Trevi.

We went to the Trevi Fountain on Wednesday morning and it was definitely the best time to go as it wasnt that busy and there was loads of opportunity for photos and to toss the coins.

They were a lot of flower sellers and people trying to make you pay to have your photo taken, they are very persistent but you just need to stick to your guns.

We loved the place so much that we visited it twice more that evening and the evening after. The fountain lit at night is definitely a site you need to experience.

Just a little tip...when facing the Trevi there is an ice cream shop to the left of you...I would definitely recommend it!!

You have to see this, it is amazing. We actually came back later in the day just to see it again. They say if you throw in a coin you will return to Rome -- so we threw in a bunch! I only wish we could have seen it lit up at night.

Such a beautiful fountain! It was just like I imagined it to be.
