“Best Neighborhood in Rome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2015 NEW

We stayed in Trastevere. I didn't particularly like our B & B, but I LOVED the neighborhood. There are tons of great coffee shops (called "bars" during the day, don't be dissuaded from going in). Lots of pizza joints, traditional Italian restaurants, inventive "foodie" type restaurants and even fine dining. Lots of wonderful shops, interesting churches and architecture. Wonderful people watching. Lots of taxi stands and a quick walk to the Jewish Ghetto, Campo di' Fiori.

“Charming Trastevere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2015 NEW

We almost didn't visit this area of Rome, but this is where Romans go to eat and shop, away from the more tourist heavy areas of Rome. We felt like we were in a small village inside a big city. Every turn more charming than the next. Great restaurants and definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely adorable area! Had lunch in front of the fountain by the church. Budget some time here, you won't regret it!

“Best area of Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2015

This is the older area of Rome but actually is very crowded by young people every single day of the week. There are a lot of pubs, restaurants, opened till late in the night, where tourists and also italians come for having fun and enjoy some drinks with friends.
