Well its well known fact that cities like Rome are full of foreign immigrants...but OMG. Pakistans, Indians, Gypsy...Fountains are great, palace as well but...
Not so much of a destination (unless you want to stop for gelato or dinner), but a nice place to stop, watch people and enjoy the two amazing fountains in the Piazza.
Must visit, food, leisure, culture- its a lovely little spot to relax by the fountains or have some gelato in the sun.
Piazza Navona is one of the main tourist hot spots of Rome with far too many foreign (African?) touts dodging the local police and other so called artists selling ghastly paintings. lots of reastaurants mostly very expensive but having said all that it is worth visiting (it free) and the fountains are splendidly baroque. i have had lunch there more than once over the years so it can't be too bad. you can use the toilets in the restaurants.
The 3 fontanas is the symber of water. It is surrounding by noce shopping complex... really an enjoyable place to spend afternoon
