Location is fantastic , fabulous local neighborhood feel
Rooms bright, clean, quiet, great value
Fabulous staff - Lourdes, Livio, Simona all are helpful, very informative for best restaurants , sights and transportation , very friendly and accomodating
I have stayed at all three B &B's - A Peace of Rome, A View of Rome, A Touch of Rome
I would highly recommend all three
I look forward to my next trip....Susanna F New Jersey

When we arrived in Rome we were more than exhausted (had not sleep for 48 hours)....Simona greeted us with compassion and understanding. She got us in our room hours before we were suppose to...we actually crashed on the couch and bed while she cleaned...we really needed that! The room was much larger than A Room w a View and quieter because the reception area was not near the room. We liked that it was modern. The elevator up was quaint and a little scary because it was old....but worked perfectly well.
We also worked with Danielle from Room w a View and he was so out of this world gracious. He would bend over backwards to make your stay perfect.
As you have heard the location was excellent! If we were ever to go there again, we would stay there. Also, we LOVED our driver, Francesco! he meet us at the airport and port, early every time. we knew we could count on him. He was worth every euro!

Our family of five enjoyed two rooms on our five night Rome journey! The staff truly made it feel like home and guided our travel decisions as we chose where to eat and what to see. The location was perfect! We were perfectly happy with all aspects of our stay!

My husband and I stayed here for five nights and really loved the location. Being near the Vatican and a metro stop was handy and we thought that it had a real local neighbourhood feel which we loved. Our room was small room but had everything that we needed. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable so we slept very well. The highlight here is the fabulous staff. We met Livio, Simona and Phillipo and they were all very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi worked well and they gave us a late checkout and arranged our transfer to the airport.

Excellent location, nice accommodations, reasonable price - there is no complaint about A Peace of Rome. The helpful staff (especially Simona) directed us to excellent restaurants as well as helping with miscellaneous needs (maps, using public transportation, nearest ATM). The room was what I expected for a large city, smallish but comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely with friendly people, including a nice gentleman who helped us find our way to the B&B (the entry has a small sign and it took us some time to figure out that we needed to go up one flight to the B&B). They have an arrangement with bakery across the street, la Compagnia del Pane, for a discounted breakfast although we stuck with the wonderful cappucino and cornetti. The location is in a quiet area just a couple of blocks from a major street and a bus stop. We will definitely stay again at A Peace of Rome.

Room Tip: Our room was on the courtyard side, which was quiet.

The name says it all, this is in a peaceful area of Rome, not the frantic messy side I have stayed at previously. I loved being in an area where locals lived and ate and went to two nearby trattorias for dinner with very little English spoken and Italian families there to eat. My room was great, very bright, clean and comfortable. Shower enclosure large enough to wash my hair, something i have found in Europe can be tricky!! Big screen TV with Sky channel with English options. Wifi was good. Filippo was there to check me in and was enthusiastic in giving me information of where things were and places to go. Because i have been to Rome on previous occasions i wasn't interested in the usual tourist sites so may have been a challenge for him but he did suggest an area i hadn't been to before and gave me the bus number to get there and where to catch the bus to come back. The Metro station is a block and half away and for those wanting to see the Vatican, its practically on the doorstep. I met Simona the following day and she made sure i had all the information i needed and on the last day organised the taxi for me and i left with big hugs to go. I didn't have breakfast in the cafe across the road as i like to try different places to eat if not included in the price but i did have a wonderful foccacia from there on my way back one late afternoon. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was not good, not very good, but truly excellent because of simona. She checked us in and thoroughly went over all the things we needed. What to see, what to do, how to get there, what time, how long, how much. For example, the trattoria she recommended was wonderful, the manager greeted us warmly and said, please pretend you are in our home and we are here to feed you till you are completely satisfied (except you have to pay at the end)! It is impossible to describe how wonderful the food was, the antipasti (carciofi, zuccini flowers), pizza, fritto misto, pastas, fresh seafood entrees, desserts, it would be impossible as we dont have smell or taste which can be shared online. They caught me doing "scarpetta" wiping down the leftover sauce on the plate with some bread! Great choice, which restaurant, ask Simona. She was like the tenured professor mentoring a student on how to get a project done: e.g. how to enjoy Rome! Unfortunately we left too early to personally say ciao to lovely Simona and thank her once more.
