“great people at the desk”

Awesome B&B in Rome which was about a 10-15 min walk to the Vatican. If you're into shopping, the Cuola di Rienzo street is a 5min walk away and is a long strip of shops. The nearest metro station is about a 10-min walk and there is also a laundromat near.

Very clean and modern minimalist rooms situated in a building that made me feel like i was a local as it didn't look like a hotel.

Simona was amazing - very friendly and helpful and gave us good restaurant recommendations, helped us with reservations - her recommendations were great and not so touristy and expensive. i wanted to just record her voice as I loved the accent. :) Daniele was also friendly and helpful. we didn't get to say a proper goodbye to simona as we left on her day off, but daniele said simona had called to ask if we had a good time at the restaurant she recommended which was pretty thoughtful of her.

Excellent hotel with many great points :
+ Friendly, helpful & patient staff
+ Great location (close to Vatican City, shopping street, stroll from Piazza Navona, Trevvi, etc.)
+ Clean & comfortable beds and toilets
+ Sleek looking and modern interiors
+ Good responses and info leading up to booking
+ Very reasonable

Things I'm pointing out only because nitpicking:
- My room faced the street and was slightly noisy
- Room could have had a small coffee table
- Not quite a B&B because breakfast isn't really included, but the cafe across the street which they recommend is great, and more than makes up for it.

We have just returned from a 5 day break and stayed here. I booked it around 9 months ago on the strength of the reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. The trip was a 40th birthday present for my partner so when I originally booked I had lots of questions. All of my emails were answered quickly. I booked a private transfer from the airport to the B&B and thought it was worth every penny. Upon arrival at Fiumicino Airport we were met by Daneille, a very smart, very polite man who led us to his car which was a spotlessly clean new Mercedes. He told us about the area as we drove from the airport to the B&B.

Simona met us at the B&B and showed us to our room which was bright, spotlessly clean and the air conditioning was fab. The bed linen and towels were crisp and clean and the double glazing ensured the noise of the street below was kept at a minimum. I don't sleep very well but can honestly say after all the sightseeing and walking, it was not a problem!

After we had settled in Simona spent about half an hour with us telling us about how to get around, providing us with a map and marking on it bus routes etc. She also recommended restaurants for us, one of which we went to on my partners birthday and it was amazing. She made restaurant reservations for us and organised our return transfter for when we left. Simona was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she is so friendly.

Breakfast in the cafe across the road is delicious. You can have everything from coffee and warm crossaints to gorgeous foccacias with ham and cheese. I think coffee and a crossaint costs a couple of Euros.

Unfortunately the Colluseum was closed on the day when we had planned to go but we will be going back for a weekend in the future and will not hesitate to stay at A Peace of Rome. It was everything I could have hoped for.

Simona and Fillipo also arranged for a bottle of wine for my partner for his birthday. Such attention to detail. We literally flew home today and we are missing it so much already!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Its off the main drag in an area where we felt safe walking around. If you don't mind walking its perfect, about ten mins from the Vatican. We took the Metro to the Colluseum. It was cheap and easy and we walked back. We must have walked miles but Rome is so beautiful its worth it.

I stayed here a few weeks back with my elderly mother for six days and was more than satisfied with the range of services offered. From the private pick-up at the airport courtesy of Daniele to the friendly and informative personal welcome by Livio upon arrival at this charming and well-located address we were impressed by the attentive care from the very start.

Both Simona and Filippo were extremely kind and helpful in giving tips regarding sightseeing, transport and disabled facilities.Their tiips on where to eat locally were also much appreciated. The breakfast bar over the road is just ideal for starting the day and the room itself was clean, comfortable, well-aired and welcoming. Noise levels from the street were no problem at all.The location for transport and proximity to the Vatican is perfect and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A BIG "thank you" to all the team for making our stay so enjoyable !!

We highly recommend staying at A Peace of Rome. Simona was so very helpful! All email inquiries were answered quickly and efficiently. She gave us her personal phone # in case we required any further assistance upon check in. With map and marker she spent at least a half hour with us pointing out her favourite eateries that she frequents with her friends. We especially enjoyed one in a unique area which we would never have discovered on our own but all were great.
The B&B is ideally located just outside of the 'tourist' area but only a 10 minute stroll to the Vatican City along residential streets.
The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely appointed with all ammenities required. The reason we gave 4 out of 5 on this review is due to the lack of breakfast included. There was a nice cafe across the street which we enjoyed.
Simona arranged out transport to and from the airport which was very helpful and not too expensive.
We look forward to our next stay at A Peaco Of Rome!

This B&B is amazing. The rooms are very clean and so comfortable (and nicely designed, which was an added bonus). The staff, Martina especially, are wonderful and really go out of their way to help you with anything and everything. I had some booking problems with a day trip and Martina couldn't have been more helpful. Loved the location and the place - definitely booking this place the next time I had back to Rome!
