“nice suite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We spent 4 nights in an excellent suite. The room was tastefull decorated and light. The staff was very friendly, with one exception in the breakfast room. Breakfast was ok, in spite of the staff didn't do the effort to make some fresh orange juice.
We enjoyed an relaxing massage, offered by the hotel.
The location is top: near piazza Nanova and near some good and cosy restaurants.

We rented this apartment last minute after being disappointed with our VRBO rental in the neighborhood. This is an excellent place for the value right in the heart of Rome! Why stay in any other neighborhood. This one was so very charming and you felt like you live like a roman. It is also a nice place away from the crazy large streets of the normal tourist attractions. Taxis will pick you up at this location, but they tend to not drop you off because of small streets, but the Navona square is not far and that is where they drop you. Great restaurants all around also, except for the one right in front of the residence, it is a tourist trap, don't go.
If I go to Rome again, I stay here!

Room Tip: some rooms facing the street can be very noisy, take a room that does not face the street. Also some...

This delightful apartment/hotel is perfectly situated for a wonderful visit to Rome. Just two short blocks from Piazza Navona you are in the middle of where the action is. The staff is very helpful and instantly make you feel at home. The rooms are clean, fresh and large. With a seperate living room area you instantly feel at home. And the price is right. Compared to other hotels in this area it is a bargain. You can roll out of bed and find a half dozen restaurants within 100 feet or take a five minute stroll and be at the Pantheon. It is truly a "find" and I highly reccomend it.

Modern interior renovation, good size rooms, friendly staff. Located in a good area when visting Rome very near the Narvona Piazza. Plenty of good resturants in the area. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Bed was too hard for my liking, but typical of the beds we have found in most of Italy. Breakfast was typical but very good.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the rear courtyard for less noise if you wan to open the windows.

The hotel is very nicely maintained, updated, and clean. It is located in an excellent central place with many choices of restaurants and seconds away from the Navona Square. The staff was very friendly and courteous. However, we were surprised on a few things. 1) They are very conservation-conscience and air conditioning is turned off at night so you'll need to request to turn a/c back on. 2) There were no adapters available for us to use for our American plugs which was an inconvenience. 3) The night life is very active directly outside the hotel until 2am every night we were stayed. However, the windows are very sound proof so it wasn't a real problem for us, but if you a light sleeper, its good information to have before booking. We couldn't open our windows to cool down our room due to the noise.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the street

In walking distance to all major attractions in Rome, this hotel offered a welcoming place to call home while spending a week in Rome. The room was clean, included a free breakfast (eggs, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, etc.), the wi-fi was free and it worked, and the staff made me feel welcome.

My husband and I had to book the apartment at the Navona palace at the last minute when our original hotel booking went aray at another hotel in the area and we are so happy it worked out this way. The apartment was less than we were going to pay at the other hotel and much much bigger, cleaner and modern. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. When we walked through the door we looked at each other and smiled, we were stoked!
The apartment is huge by Rome standards, its also sound proof which was great as the little plaza below gets pretty lively in the evenings. We had two tv's, a kitchenette and a private balcony off our bedroom.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, we walked to everything from the hotel with ease and the little plaza had markets, restaurants and little bars etc, its a hidden gem if your not into touristy areas like the larger Plaza Navona the hotel is named after which is about 200mtrs away.
The staff were pleasant and very helpful and the breakfast was sufficient for what you pay. I don't have anything negative to say about our stay at the Navona palace, it was an absolute pleasure! As we had such a huge amount of things to do in our time in Rome we didn't even get to experience their spa and wellness centre but I will definitely be doing that when we return to Rome one day.
