“A place to put your head down”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2014

The hotel was nice for a budget hotel with lovely murials of Rome on the wall as you enter the hotel, the staff at first seemed rude but after our broken Italian and flailing hands which seemed to them like a drunken game of charades they helped us out immensely. The room was small but hey we were there to take in as much of Rome as possible so this was just a pit stop. The chamber maids were helpful and did an amazing job on our room and we were a messy bunch.
Breakfast was continental with two yogurts, two cereals, two kinds of fruit, ham, salami, and cheese with an assortment of rolls, breads and sweet things, The Italians love their sweet breads and pastries in the morning.
I did not use the bar because why when you have Rome to go visit and enjoy drinks by the Spanish steps.
They offer a free shuttle service to and from the Metro station but only at certain times so you have to check your timings.

I enjoyed my time in Rome and like I said before for a budget hotel this was perfect.

The hotel has great looking rooms but the service quality is terrible. They do not have a restaurant yet so don't except to get food unless you have pre-ordered. You can order for pizza from the front desk.

The room we stayed in had flimsy walls and could hear our neighbours and all the way to the bar. If your air conditioning doesn't work, the room can be very stuffy.Wi-fi doesn't work well in the rooms.

Not the most accessible hotel. You would have to walk 20 mins to the closest station or restaurant.

Stayed here some weeks ago during the weekend.
The hotel rooms are small but OK, not very clean though, walking over the floor barefoot would leave them all gross with sand and other stuff.

Service is the worst ever, I forgot my phone at this hotel and realized it after leaving. Tried to contact the hotel, the person at the desk told me indeed they had found my phone but I should call back another day in the morning because another person would resolve this problem with me. Being incapable to call back in the days after I sent an email, never received an answer. Days after I called in the morning, the person picking up the phone was extremely rude and started to raise his voice at me, being very impatient saying he didn't have time to say the same things over and over. When I told him he lacked proper costumer service-oriented skills, he just closed down the call. After calling again and emailing again this person told me the phone had NOT been found, and basically was laughing at me (being 'so sorry' in capital letters) since there was nothing I could do. Didn't get the phone back still.

Never again, please avoid this hotel.
Ps. Breakfast is very poor, better to go to a supermarket in advance and buy some croissants and crackers there. Also the location is the worst, seems to be located in the slums.

Terible service, not to go!!! No wifi Or parking for all. Noisy and rude. The worst place ever in rome. Please do not try this. The rooms are very small and smell of smoke and humidity. We were here for 4 days and every single one as the same, do not repeat this ever again.

hotel is wonderful, clean and cozy rooms. bathroom a little small but it does the job. restaurant tiny, and they do have a bar but i never saw it open. wifi works threw out the hotel but connection is strongest in the lobby. staff were very friendly.(as tourists sometimes cab drivers like to rip you off and start the meter higher than usual) we told the man at the desk this and he came outside and talked to the driver and insured he wasn't going to do this to us. although this is a great hotel... it is in the middle of no where..... you have a good 15-20 minute walk to the metro station threw a creepy alley and many side streets and on the way back there is a massive hill to walk up. after the 15 minute walk you have 10 minutes on the train and you are in downtown rome. there are a few restaurants in the area once you walk threw the creepy alley.

Absolutely one of the best rooms we stayed in during a recent tour of Europe. Now for the bad part....the location is a 15 minute walk to the metro...the metro is great...the walk in the heat is not good. The owners were obviously bothered by our stay and were unfriendly at best. The restaurant had very bad service. The bar was virtually non-existent, where the service was lousy, and incredibly we were told they didn't have red wine! In Italy...come on now. There are no other restaurants or bars or anything else close by, so unless you have rented a car you are in trouble staying here.

Room Tip: The rooms are very very nice and quiet.
