This place is a real find and will be my base in Rome every trip now. Rooms big and airy, breakfast amazing, staff very friendly and helpful, easy to get into centre, and a bargain for Rome.... Happy days.

This is a small friendly hotel in one of the quieter less hectic areas just outside of Rome city centre. The Palm Gallery Hotel is excellent valve for money. The rooms are of a very good standard. You can either pay for an average sized European hotel room or for only a few Euros more a nice larger room. I would recommend the latter. The smaller rooms do have a small bath as others have pointed out, but if you don't want this pay the extra. We were more than happy with everything.

With regards the service. Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and helpful and cant do enough for their guests, you will be treated like royalty. We were greeted with welcome drinks and were given comprehensive information on how to get around, where recommended restaurants where, best sites to visit etc. One night when my partner ran out of cigarettes Vincenzo walked round to the local shop to use the vending machine for her. I have not encountered such helpfulness at a hotel before and can not recommend this hotel highly enough.

So in summary if we visit Rome again we would look forward to staying at the Palm Gallery again. This really is one of Rome's best kept secrets. Thanks for looking after us Vincenzo, Daniel, Lorenzo and Luisa

Room Tip: Pay a few more Euros for the larger room

My wife, daughter and granddaughter spent three nights at this small hotel. We enjoyed the stay and recommend to others. Our room was on the third floor which made the walk up a little challenge but not unduly. The breakfast area was cozy and pleasant. They prepared eggs to order for us daily. The patio area was very nice in the evenings.

My girlfriend an I spent the last two nights here and we absolutely loved it! The staff (Daniel and Vincenzo) were so nice and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They gave us great advice regarding local places to eat, drink and sight see. We ate at two of the restaurants they'd suggested and both the meals were beautiful. We particularly like the pizzas at Limonea :)

Rooms were spacious and well decorated. High ceilings and for me a very Moroccan theme about the communal areas.

We were made to feel totally at home and If we ever come back to Rome this will be where we stay. Thank you guys

Was recommended this accom and was not disappointed. Although initially worried that it was too far from the city centre, this was quickly dispelled as trams, trains and buses were all close by and easy to use with a daily transport ticket purchased at the " news agency". It was lovely to come back to a relaxed hotel after a hectic day sightseeing. Drinks on the patio on arrival , after a day out and before dinner were perfect and always arrived with a smile from the accommodating and efficient staff. The maps provided of the area, transport and restaurants were invaluable. The breakfast provided was by far the best we had received in our 3 weeks in Italy. Palm Gallery was the last leg of our tour and a perfect way to end a holiday.

The reviews are telling the truth, this place is fantastic. It is like being a spoiled child in your parents home, Luisa, Daniel & Julio are doting on you all the time.

It is a little bit of a walk to the main attractions however it is worth the peace & quiet when you get back.

We mentioned to Luisa that she should raise her rates as this is certainly the best value in Rome.

Arriving at the Palm Gallery Hotel was the perfect antidote to a hectic travel day from Paris to Rome. My sister and I were greeted with much-needed refreshments on the relaxing patio of this warm, intimate accommodation in a garden setting both squarely located in Rome, but a world away from the frantic hustle and bustle that is Rome in the summer. Aside from our room (with delightful architectural touches like pale brick arches built into the walls and around the windows) being impeccably and efficiently furnished, there were also quite thoughtful additions like a dish of caramels and hard candies and bathrobes. The staff were simply incredible. They were extremely helpful about transportation to various sights, best itineraries, how much time to schedule for departure to the train station, arranging for taxis, etc. Their prepared materials listing at least a dozen restaurants in the neighborhood, vetted for type of food, cost, gluten-free, vegan, etc,. was an efficiency much welcomed as we were only going to be in Rome two days. Lastly, the breakfast, with made-to-order omelets, freshly squeezed juices (like orange/lemon, watermelon), and stuffed gnocchi, was amazing.
