I Stayed in December. We arrived after midnight and were checked in very quickly.
The room was spacious and spotless and had double wardrobes, a fridge and huge firm but very comfortable bed. The bedding was gleaming white and of high quality. The black-out curtains were extremely effective and we slept until quite late the following morning and missed breakfast.
The bathroom was again a good size and contained a reasonable sized walk in shower which had a fixed shower head and a hand held one. Toiletries consisted of shower cap and body/hair shampoos. The towels were white, thick, fluffy and large.
The reception staff were knowledgeable and helpful and directed us to bus stops and cafes and restaurants.
The location was brilliant, surrounded by cafes, and gift shops and good eating establishments. 10/15 minutes’ walk and you were at the Coliseum. 5 minutes’ walk to the hop on hop off bus stop, 2 minutes’ walk to McDonalds.
The hotel was super modern and immaculate everywhere. Wifi was free in the rooms and was very efficient. The lifts were semi glass so you looked out onto the atrium as you escalated up to the relevant floor. Most of the major attractions were in walking distance 15/25 minutes and the Vatican could be easily reached by bus or train or taxi.
The hotel did not have a restaurant but you could bring your own food in and eat on the terrace. A super shiny and clean microwave and hot water for drinks is provided on floor 3. The vending machines found on various floors, offer snacks, toiletries and alcohol at a very reasonable price; a soft drink costing 1 euro. The hotel also had a laundry, it cost 4 euros for a wash and the laundry includes an iron and ironing board for guests to use.
Breakfast was lovely lots of teas to choose from, coffee machine, cheeses, bread, cakes and hot options too.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. I loved my stay and couldn’t fault it at all (and I am very fussy where I lay my head).
Rome is awesome, so much to see and do right on the doorstep of this hotel.
This hotel will be my hotel of choice when visiting Rome.
