“Simple, no fuss, hassle free”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2014

My wife and I stayed in iQ Hotel Roma for 2 nights and loved it. The location is excellent - a 5 minute walk from main train station and easily within walking distance of the Colosseum and "Wedding Cake". The hotel itself is modern and well presented. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. There are self service facilities on all floors for laundry, drinks, food & other things you may need like toothbrushes, etc. For an easy, affordable, well located and no fuss break - look no further!

Our four night stay at the IQ Hotel Roma was excellent. The group of receptionists at the front desk is excellent. They were always willing and ready to help with reservations of restaurants and tours as well as city directions and always with a smile. They will call a taxi and in 3 minutes taxi will be at the door of the hotel. The location of the hotel is great, near the Termini train Station, across the street from the Opera theater, one block away from Av. Nazionale with many restaurants and shopping stores. few blocks from one of the most beautiful churches in Rome Santa Maria Maggiore and 5 minutes from the Colosseo and Roman Forum (taxi fare 12 E).
The room was very good, very clean, great WiFi and no city noises although our room (#120) in the first floor faced the street directly across the Opera House. The breakfast was a great value with a great variety of pastries and beverages.
I will highly recommend this hotel.

How refreshing to find a hotel that still offers good old fashioned service. We found the hotel to be clean, modern and central. They offer a 10 Euro buffet breakfast which was great value for money especially if you compare what you can find in Central Rome which I found to be most expensive. The staff are exceptionally well trained and are more than happy to be of assistance and certainly go the extra mile to help solve any problem you may face along your way. Highly recommended. Rooms are on the small side but comfortable enough.

Room Tip: They do have larger rooms as on our return to Rome they gave us one so do ask for the biggest room t...

Best hotel in our latest Italy trip. So many positive reviews cannot lie. Above and beyond expectations. A modern fully equipped hotel, Republica Metro station nearby, the best breakfast I have recently experienced in an Italian hotel, and last but not least, a devoted and extremely efficient crew.

We stayed here for 4 nights last month and if ever returning to Rome would stay here again. Position is fantastic - an easy 10 minute walk from terminii (with cases) and even closer to Republic. We actually walked or caught buses everywhere and it was very convenient for that too. Via Nazionale at the top of the street has many bus lines.
The laundry was a bonus and I disagree that it is expensive - we have paid exactly the same amount elsewhere in Italy and it is far far cheaper than any hotel laundry service.
Staff were excellent and the room was very ccomfortable and clean. We really had nothing to complain about. Vending machines came in very handy for late night snacks and we even found a good family pizza restaurant nearby.

This is a very nice hotel, just renovated the place, looks new.
The staff was very friendly, helped a lot.
The room was kept clean and is very very nice.
It is located 5 minutes wals from the termini and 10 minute from piazza venezia, forum, spanish steps and pantheon.
I would go again in a heartbit !

We stayed four nights at the iQRoma at the beginning of June. It was exactly what we needed for Rome, yet is by no means, luxurious. Rooms are small but very clean and modern. The shower was wonderfully hot and the staff extremely courteous. I first booked this hotel because I thought it was close to Termini station, but it is actually closer to Republicca! This was actually significantly more convenient for us, as Termini is CRAZY busy. We were able to get anywhere and everywhere quickly EXCEPT for Trastevere. Google maps lies, it is not a twenty minute walk you need a cab. We did not eat anywhere around the hotel as the cuisine is not recommended by the locals. Better to go up one stop to Barberini or over to Trastevere. The rooftop area at the iQ was a great bonus. We also ended up using the laundry room, expensive (8€ for wash and dry), but it was nice to clean up our clothes. We underestimated how hot and sweaty we would get from Rome :/! Overall, I would recommend this to travelers looking for simplicity and convenience over historical glamour!
