“GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

This B&B is fantastic!!! Two blocks from the Vatican, a few more blocks from St Peter's Cathederal. Very clean, appears to be new rooms, free wifi and the manager Mary is very nice and treats you like family. Angelo's Restraunt is right around the block and has great food at reasonable prices. Lots of restraunts and bars within blocks. This was my first but not last trip to Italy. Great experience. The metro (train) is walking distance. This location is an easy commute from FCO airport. There are no big signs in front of the building, so you have to look for the address and read the building plaques. I only stayed three nights, but would have like to stayed longer. Ther price are extremly reasonable, in fact I think they were very cheap considering the location. I can say anything negative about this place. You will not regret your stay. OVER ALL GREAT.

Room Tip: Street side has some noise, but did not bother me. I was given a choice of the street side or quiete...

This was not what I thought I had booked. It is more a like a hotel room in a private apartment. After initial disappointment it soon turned into a positive. The owners went out of there way to help and could not have been more friendly.
The location is perfect very close to metro and only a street way from the Vatican. Great restaurants close by also.

The Saint Peter Inn B&B offers rooms located in a strategic part of the Italian capital. Extremely close to the Vatican museums and Saint Peter's cathedral, it is also located not far from the subway station and a bus station. We dealt with Ms. Mariella, who was extremely nice and helpful, even when we needed an extra attention. The rooms are clean, and the one in which we stayed was also not noisy (but remember you're at the center of Rome, you're gonna hear traffic anyway). There is not continuous reception there, but Ms. Mariella gave us her cell phone and she answered every time we had the urge to talk to her. You get a ticket for having breakfast in a bar nearby, which is included in the price of the room. Pastries and capuccino are very good there. You get the Italian breakfast, not sandwiches or such, as in most places. The only thing is that someone might not like the idea of having to go outside to get breakfast, but it didn't bother me too much, and it happens in most B&B. There is an elevator at the B&B, although there are something like 3 steps to reach it, so it's not perfect for wheelchairs, but it's ok even for people who can't move so easily.
Summing up: a honest deal concerning the price, very nice people, clean and very comfortable position.

Room Tip: Although you can find the B&B online with offers on most websites, you should call the B&B d...

Great location. Easy walk to the Vatican, shopping, restaurants, metro, and hop on hop off bus routes. Located on the 4th floor, there is an elevator to help with luggage. The room was updated with new wood floors, bedding, private updated bathroom, air conditioning and free wifi. You must contact the owners to let them know when you will be arriving. They will meet you there to give you the gate and room keys. There is no front desk with 24 hour staffing to let you in. For breakfast we were given coupons to a nearby cafe for coffee and a pastry. Very nice quality. The best part about St. Peter's Inn is the warm and caring hostess, Mary!!!!! She truly cared about our best interest and comfort. It is nice to meet honest helpful people when one travels. We <3 Mary! We would go back again.

Superbly located for St Peters with the Vatican City only 100 yards away, numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance and tour buses only 5 mins walk away. Apartments recently refurbished and very comfortable with great street views - would definately rebook when next in Rome

This B&B, I thought, was a superb choice of accommodation.
Here's why:

1. Good transport links: metro Ottaviano station was only 5 minutes away...
2. Vatican City was very close: a lot to see locally.
3. Easy to find your way back to accommodation at night (just use the Vatican City as the reference point)
4. Breakfast - which you get at a cafe - is pretty good.
5. Carrefour is next door (supermarket!)
6. Nice people...they even booked a taxi + let us check-out at 4pm!

It was very nice place to stay. The location is excellent, walking distance to the Vatican and all other tourist attractions, near of metro. The hostess was kind. It is a little bit noisy but when you are walking all day you sleep like baby. Very clean. I would recommend and would go back definitely.
