“Good, authentic Italian”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2011

The menu claimed that Michelle Obama ate there. I can't speak to the accuracy of this claim, but the food was very good. I had a nicely prepared seafood risotto and shared a spicy salami pizza.

“Fantastic, authentic, delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2011

We stumbled on this restaurant by surprise and decided to have a look at the menu- it is huge! It was only our second night in Rome and so we were very happy to see The local delicacies on the menu - the fried zucchini stuffed with mozzarella and anchovy and the speciality rice balls were both amazing (and only €1.50 each). We didn't have room for pasta course, but the portions looked huge. I had the grilled tuna which was excellent and we also had a pizza which was again huge and so tasty. The restaurant was buzzing with locals which was great. It also produces it's own wine, a bottle of which was €8 and really excellent. Would highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a delicious, authentic, unpretentious, atmospheric and great value meal!
