“Our Favourite in Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

We headed for Due Ladroni on our 6th hight. Make it short. Service, perfect. Antipasti , wonderful, Main courses, unbelievable. There were so nice that the chef came to say hello. It costes a little more than usual. 40 euros per person. If you have one night in Rome, go there.

“A great experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

My husband and I went for lunch after trawling the area for good, simple Italian fare. We found it! The food was spot on (particularly the warm octopus salad appetizer), the wine was good and the staff efficient, helpful and friendly. High recommend it!

“Delicious and nice ambience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

We were referred to this place from a local and they always know best!!
The food was average, the wine was delicous and it was a beautiful evening in Rome to sit outside. I ordered the baby octopus and it was superb. My friends both ordered Pasta and it was done well (as you are in Italy and pasta is hard to mess up).
The service was very good but it was pretty late and they were closing up.
I would visit again much earlier to experience the true atmosphere of a great locals restaurant next time I am in Rome.

“Good Food, apparently the Place to go in Roma”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

I went twice in 3 days to this restaurant. Food was good, service is perfect. It is a good restaurant with good food, nothing extraordinary. After 10pm the restaurant starts to get busy with locals. Expect to see a great concentration of Butox and high heels. It is a typically trendy place for dinner in central Rome.

“Pricey and hence not quite worthwhile”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012 via mobile

Overall good food. Specialises in seafood. We had steak for mains since we had our eyes on a sforzato red wine. The meat was nice and tender. The mark-up on prices is too high and the service below standard. Seems to be an institution amongst italians. Picture of owner with maradona always impresses and excites. Not sure i would go back with all the options around
