This is located in Trastevere part of Rome. Interesting neighborhood. The place serves traditional food, very well made, pleasant atmosphere, nice staff, food is great.

“Nice place, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

We stumbled upon this restaurant and were seated immediately (the place we originally wanted had a long wait...disappointing b/c it looked really promising). The outdoor seating area was much cuter than the indoors but my hubbie opted for inside b/c we didn't want to chance the second hand smoke during our meal. The drinks were good and our food came fairly quickly. We shared the pear, brie and honey bruschetta, very yummy! We each got a parmigiana dish (him chicken and me the eggplant). Both dishes were good however it's important to note that we foolishly assumed our meals would come with pasta the way we are used to with "Americanized" Italian food. Mine was just a medium-sized portion with no sides at all and my husband's came with a small side salad and a few (literally) pieces of roasted potatoes. We were disappointed and it must've shown on my face because the waiter offered some bread to go with my eggplant. Other than that, the meal was reasonably priced and we were happy with the food we had...just wish we had a bit more to round it out :o)

Also, they claim that tap water isn't available which is ludicrous. The city literally has a public water fountain on every street and they don't have any available? Obviously they want you to only buy water...so we opted to only buy booze instead :o) Our waiters (there were a couple) were nice but when it came to pay, the guy literally looked inside the check holder and walked away 3 times. We finally had to waive it at him and say "the card is in here!!!" for him to finally swipe the credit card. He even had the card machine in his hand but must have been distracted by the soccer match happening.

“Great lively, lovely food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Stumbled upon this little gem and were lucky to be there early. Within 30 minutes the place was bursting. Great cocktails at 6 to 8 euros. Smashing ginger ale mojito. Unbelievable bruschettas, great home made pasta, I wanted everything on the menu, it was a wonderful lunch and Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

“Smallest portions ever!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

This was by far the worst food i had in Rome. The portions were ridiculously small, we had to ask for bread just to full us up. The prices are high so definetely not value for money. Maybe it was the dishes we selected but the food was not good at all. The best part of our meal was the bread. Much nicer and less expensive places to eat in in Trastevere.

“Lovely Restaurant in beautiful surroundings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

It was so difficult to choose a restaurant in the Trastevere area, there are sooo many. We choose this one as the menu outside look tasty and it had got a lovely buzz with everyone sitting outside.
We were not disappointed. The food was delicious, they also had a great wine list. To top it all an Italian couple on the next table got engaged- all in all a perfect evening!
