This place is a gem. Simply loved our 3 nights at Mario de' Fiori 37 and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for boutique hotel that's charming, modern and comfortable. The hotel's biggest plus is its excellent location. The Spanish steps are a stone’s throw away, the Trevi fountain, a short walk and shopping options galore surround. The best part was the vibe of the general area where the hotel is located - simply fantastic! As a small boutique hotel, the Mario de’ Fiori 37 doesn't have its own restaurant, bar (etc) but this is not an issue at all, as there's a plethora of dining options in the area. Our room at the Mario de’ Fiori 37 was very comfortable and decked out in a modern style. An added bonus was the coffee machine provided in the room - not something provided by the other hotels we stayed in during our time in Italy. The service was excellent and staff always happy to help out with suggestions and recommendation on all things local. This place definately remains our preferred choice for our next stay in Rome.

Perfect location for the experienced Rome tourist traveler; seconds to the Spanish Steps (and subway), resturants and high-end shops. Rooms (just seven in the entire hotel!) are lovely and large, with well appointed (but single user) bathrooms. Very professional front desk support; friendly and warm, with (mostly) reliable advice. Breakfast and security are awkward: (1) no front desk service overnight; (2) need to rely on other customers to secure front door; (3) breakfast is in-room and at a high cost (unusual for those used to free breakfast at many European hotels) and must be ordered morning of service, not night before. The actual breakfast is a bit skimpy for the cost. Overall, this is a very good choice at a fair price.

Myself & my husband have stayed here twice in the last year, in a Junior Suite & a deluxe double. Lovely perfectly formed hotel with very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Junior suite is large especially for such a city centre location with bathroom equally as nice. Deluxe double also good size too with very comfortable bed.
Location is fantastic, very close to Spanish steps & main shopping streets & restaurants. Staff had great recommendations for nearby restaurants & coffee shops. Although it is a great location it should be kept in mind that it is city centre & we found there was some noise early in the morning (from about 6am) of delivery trucks, garbage bins etc. This did not affect our opinion of the hotel & will hopefully be returning.

We were looking for a nice luxury hotel by the Piazza di Spagna and we were so glad we found this one. The service of the staff was impeccable and their command of the English language was admirable. Upon arrival, they made reservations for us at the Colosseum and the Forum for he next day, that we could use at any time. The hotel is in a converted residence, and they did a wonderful job converting it. We were in a spacious and luxurous Jr. Suite with slippers, bathrobe, ample lighting, and a shower and bath. And the water pressure is great! Though there is too much to do in Rome to watch TV, the channel selection was the best I've seen in Italy, with lots of American shows, Fox News, and free satellite movies! It felt like home the three nights we were there!
BTW, the elevator is the size of a phone booth (literally), so I'd recommend bringing small luggage.

What a find....... This hotel is just perfect for a city break in Rome, located just one street back from the Spanish steps and right in the buzz of old town Rome with gourgeous little restaurants and bars in it`s maze of cobbled streets. The hotel is part of the Luxury Suites of Rome and the layout of the rooms is awesome. Spacious and beautifully designed with typical Italian flair right down to the bespoke branded toiletries. Huge deep bath and a separate shower along with an enormous king bed make this room equal to anywhere we have stayed in the world. The staff are really helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is optional and can only be served in the room which again was a pure delight with the sound of the street below our open window. This was an experience that we intend to repeat just as soon as we can find a space in the diary. ..........Bob and Claire Watson

My wife and I along with another couple recently spent 4 days at the Mario de Fiori 37 on my recommendation. I was a little apprehensive given that this is not a typical hotel but more a collection of suites, but it turned out to be an excellent choice. The rooms are modern throughout with all the amenities. If your budget allows I would step to a Junior Suite but the regular doubles are just fine. Best of all was the extremely friendly and knowledgeable concierge/receptionists. They were extremely helpful in everything from recommending restaurants, arranging tours or getting a car for the airport. We had more useful help from them that the concierge desks at many 5-star hotels. Overall and excellent place to stay in Rome.

Room Tip: There is no fitness room on the premises and we did not inquire about other arrangements and there i...
