We arrived quite late at night and were a bit taken aback by the dark street and the graffiti everywhere. Once inside though we were much happier. The rooms are very very small, but everything in rooms and ensuite was perfectly clean. One of the cleanist rooms I have ever been in. One guy at the desk (night duty) was great and very helpful, one of the others not so good. Good location to sub and train and a few nice places to eat within a block or two.
Breakfast was plain but sustanial. Mostly breads and cerals etc.
At first impression we were concerned about the area at night, however after a two night stay we felt quite comfortable coming and going with no issues of concern.

I would probably stay there again, primarily because it is so clean which is not that common.

there is a terrific market across the street from the hotel to pick up cheeses, fruits and yogurt, etc . to keep in the room.....breakfast was the same each morning and we did stay six nights...........a must is the gelato store two blocks away, however, not on a Sunday night being the wait is over and hour it seemed to be a family night ...the best treat after touring all day to sit down and enjoy...........the hotel was easy to get around Rome from................the front desk helpful and our room was kept very clean................being we were there for a number of nights we would have enjoyed putting on the t.v. and having english sub titles or a cnn chanel to view.................

Not sure how they got their 4 star raiting, but there is no way this hotel can be rated as 4 stars. The location is not too bad...walking distance to Colesium (about 10 min walking), close to Metro, but the rooms are VERY small (barely could fit in the shower). The guy at the front desk is not friendly...so the concept of 'customer-service' is not there. No free internet (most hotels offer that), and we had to wait in line to get breakfast because there was not enough tables (once again, the dining room was too small). So, how can it be 4 stars, when the hotel doesn't even have a restaurant, or a fitness center, or a business center?!?!
Overall it's bearable, but not what I expected.

Where to begin!
This was the start of our honeymoon and we thought we would treat ourselves to one of the suites, which was not cheap.

On arrival, there was no help with our luggage, we were on the second floor and would of taken the lift, but that hadn;t been finished being built yet. so instead it was up a tight stairwell with a wonderful view of more building work gong on.

The room was just passable as a suite, it was more a large room divided into two. I would say on the positive the room was well furnished and the bathroom was very nice.

We didnt eat breakfast at the hotel as the dining area looked really dark an uninviting.

It is laughably bad considering the price we paid , in vengance we stole their uk adapter and they are not having it back.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel, chosen mainly for its price and location. Its very small and not very noticable from the street. Although the rooms are quite small, everything is very nicely decorated and clean. It is about a 10 min walk to the Manzoni subway station and about 20 mins to the collesium. We didn't explore the area around the hotel, but there didn't appear to be many restaurants. There are a couple of cafes close by that sell pastries and drinks etc. Thre is however a complementary conntinental breakfast which means you can quickly eat and be on your way for sight seeing!
