We always look for small boutique places when we travel--we don't need the restaurants, golf course, conference centers, athletic clubs that most chains offer ad nauseam. The Moses Fountain has none of the above. In their place are a fabulous location, extraordinarily warm owners who double as the front staff, and rooms that are new, clean, over-sized, artfully decorated. We stayed five nights in Theresa's Sofa which features a cool steam shower set up with funky LED lights embedded in the tiles. You have to experience it! Andreas and Emanuela were perfect hosts--helpful, funny, solicitous, and quick with a restaurant suggestion when we needed it. Everything feels close by--either a short walk, a quick metro or a taxi will get you there in just a few minutes. There's no place I'd rather stay. A bonus is that Bernini's St Theresa in Ecstacy is right across the street in Santa Maria della Vittoria. The only drawback? Our cab driver had trouble finding it! Use the church (Santa Maria della Vittoria) as a landmark and you'll be fine.

This seven room hotel is located in the center of Rome, within easy walking distance of most major sights. Owner, Andreas, and his sister, Gemma, were very welcoming and helpful in all respects. They spent a good deal of time with us when we arrived, orienting us to the hotel and the location. They were attentive to our every need, very nice people. Our room was furnished beautifully in a contemporary decor, it was very clean and comfortable. A very good continental breakfast was included.

We stayed at the Moses Fountain at the end of October and booked on the basis of the excellent reviews. We would re-iterate all that has already been said about cleanliness and the personal service that Emanuella provides. There are some nice touches such as the room being prepared for the night, even when you have made a bit of a mess before going out for the evening!

Our only disappointment was caused by the very thin walls in our room (The Blue Room). We were awoken on 2 of the 3 nights of our stay due to noises emanating from the adjacent room and this became a little intrusive.

Other than this, we would definitely recommend the hotel and what you see written in the majority of reviews really does relate to the overall experience you will enjoy!

We stayed at the Moses Fountain for 3 nights in early October whilst on holiday in Rome. We had some trouble finding the place - if you are in a cab tell the driver it is round the corner from the St Regis Grand.
The rooms are fantastic - very modern but with nice touches such as the Nesspresso coffee maker and free mini bar with soft drinks and beers.
What really makes the place special however is the owners and staff who are so helpful. When we arrived Emanuella, the owner, went through all of the features of the room and then spent time with us recommending places to visit and restaurants to eat at.
On the first morning we had breakfast in our room as the weather was not too good but on the other days we ate outside on the roof terrace.
The location is perfect - walking distance from Terminii and also from all of the major sites.

Spent 4 nights recently. difficult to locate even for Cab driver, but once your there it's like being home. If you can't do stairs it's a bad choice as there are several flights up to the property.
