Thanks Luca for an awesome stay! We stayed in what we think is the largest room out of 4 rooms in the B&B. It had a balcony with a fantastic view of Castel Saint Angelo. The bed was good size and comfortable. Newly renovated and clean bathroom which we loved. There is TV Satellite with International stations (Luca said there's about 300+ channels, but we only found 1 that was in English - CNN of course). Furniture in the room is from Ikea... but who doesn't like Ikea furniture? The room was cleaned daily and well. Breakfast was awesome - loved that croissant au chocolat and blood orange juice! Best of all.... there is HIGH SPEED INTERNET. Luca was a great host. On our last evening there, he called us on our mobile to ask if we needed a ride to the airport the next day. We totally forgot about making arrangements BUT Luca had it all covered. I definitely recommend his "limo" service arrangements - very convenient and good value. His recommended restaurant Barca had some of the best seafood we've tasted, but pricey - so be careful. We walked ALL over Rome from this place... REALLY. Luca's a little obsessed with TripAdvisor ratings, but I would be too if I owned the place :) This B&B is just over 6 months old, and is already #1 B&B in all of Rome in Tripadvisor. He must be doing something right. Bravo Luca!

Very nice place with clean and modern equipped place. It is near the Vatican and not far from all other points of interests.

For the price, this is one of the best B&Bs my wife and I have ever stayed at in a major city in Europe. The room was quiet, modern and clean and the continental breakfast was very good.

The location is within 5-10 minutes walking distance of St. Peter's and Castel San Angelo and within 30 minutes walking distance of most of the other major sights in the centre of Rome.

The owner, Luca Patrizi, could not have been more helpful in every respect. He gave us helpful advice on dining and sightseeing, let me use his computer to check our flight home, and arranged transport to the hotel from the cruise port in Civitivecchia and from the hotel to the airport at the end of our stay.

I would highly recommend "At Your Place" to anyone planning to spend a few days visiting Rome and who wants to stay in a nice B&B in a nice location at a very reasonable price.

At Your Place is a very nice bed and breakfast within walking distance of the Vatican. If you enjoy walking, you can also reach the Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Colleseum within 30 minutes or so.

One thing to consider is that there is some type of an after dinner jazz club downstairs that has noisy patrons that leave in the wee hours on Friday and Saturday. The laughing and talking doesn't last that long but may wake you up if you are a light sleeper.

I would recommend that you arrange with Luca for a airport pick-up and drop-off. The taxis in Rome seem to make a sport out of ripping off English speaking tourists. It probably cost you less than a taxi and the conversation with the driver was pleasant in both directions.

Luca went out of his way to share suggestions for restaraunts, bus routes and shopping. He goes out of this way to keep his rating on Trip Advisor high so you can expect a pleasant stay.
