“GOOD FOOD, AN OASIS FROM TOURIST TRAMPS”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013 via mobile

This is a lovely small Ristorante in the heart of the Trastevere area.
The area is very lively during the summer but also full of tourist trap like restaurants.
Nice ambiance, zero pretnsious place, educated friendly staff.
Good real Italian cuisine. Must try the Scarmoza di Prosciutto e Radicchio. Also the parmigiana is recommended.

“Great experience not another carbon copy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013 via mobile

Nice change from all the other carbon copies in the area. We had a quick meal, unusual pasta with fig and anchovies, lasagna with ricotta and pistcho and meatball lasagna all good. Quirky unusual set up. Will come back

“STILL AS GREAT as we remembered!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

We love this place... small.. cute...boutiqueish and the service is so warm and friendly. NOT a tourist trap! Casual dining, at its best! The burrata mozarella should be the standard for all and their pastas are cooked to perfection. QUITE yummy.... ending with tiramasu that is beyond description. BE SMART -- EAT HERE!

“Lovely atmosphere, good food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

We had been to a really average place in Trastevere on a previous night which was very disappointing but then we found Ditta Trinchetti, which is lovely place in Trastevere, nice atmosphere, small, quirky decoration with nice unobtrusive waiters. The food was simple and tasty; house wine was decent quality and served in a half litre which was useful if you don’t want a whole bottle. Really enjoyable place and the place next door to it look nice too, didn’t get a chance to try it on this trip though. There is also a lovely ice cream place near this restaurant, I cant remember the name of it but they have a great range of excellent ice-cream. The only thing I would mark it down for was the bathroom; it could do with sprucing up; a good clean and a toilet seat!
