My husband and I were enjoying the Christmas markets and were hungry with no Xmas lunch reservation so we decided to just pick an open place. We knew whatever was open in a "touristy" area may not be the best but we decided to enjoy the view of the markets and eat at Bar Navona. We are not picky eaters but this meal was horrible. My husband got chicken with breadcrumbs and it was all bones and fried bread. The French fries tasted like they were still partly frozen. My cannelloni tasted like chef boyardee canned ravioli. The bruschetta was soggy toast with soggy tomatoes slopped on top sprinkled with cheese. Our meal took forever to arrive and we had to track down the server to get our bill. I was willing to pay overpriced for a touristy place with an okay meal but this place was not even edible.
