“Busy but not sure why.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

We ate here the day we arrived in rome. Our hotel wasn't ready to check in and this was just up the street.
We got sat straight away but after that getting anyone's attention was a nightmare.
The food was ok-my sisters didnt enjoy their pizzas they were drowned in oil and my mums lasagne looked like baby food.
The meal did as a put off.
We nearly died when we got the bil though- for 4 people to have a light lunch and one drink each it cost us £70. A can of coke was £4.
The couple next to us were charged €5 for bread they didnt even ask for or eat.
In my opinion definately Not value for money-try smaller places further down the street.

“terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

Horrible place! The waiters are impolite and ignorant. Do not go there, there are so many nicer restaurants and pizzerias in Rome.

“A fine place with good specials”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

We had lunch outside which was nice. So-so service and there didn't seem to be any organization of the servers. The specials we had were Pork cheek in red wine and fettuccine ratatouille with calamari. Both were good. Another of us had gnocchi with clams. Gnocchi wasn't the soft pillows of dough I had come to expect in Rome, but were more firm like the USA packaged ones. Should have gone with a special, but it was fine.

“Very Poor value”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

We ate at this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and seemed very popular, but had spare tables. Most of the staff seemed to run around out of control and the head waiter did not manage staff - just pointed.. As the evening progressed my wife and I joked as each meal came out - "would they find the right table first attempt" The Olive pate was tasteless, the Carbon style Pizza was burnt style on the outside but dough not cooked and too much liquid. There were no anchorites and only 5 olives. The drinks were disappointing. 83.50 Euro after they took off the food we did not order for a disappointing meal. Cannot recommended it.
