We stayed here for one night before our cruise leaving from Civitavecchia. This was right next to the Trastevere train station, which will take you directly to Civitavecchia. The staff was very helpful, they told us the how to get to all of the historic sites (an easy tram ride away). This is not close to a metro stop, but there is no need to take the metro to get to the main sites. There is a WONDERFUL Italian restaurant, with reasonable prices, across the street.
Our room was a decent size. We shared a patio with the room next to us. There was a small table outside where we ate breakfast. The breakfast was very simple. Some pre-packaged pastries and a loaf of bread. They will make you a cappucino upon requst.
Due to the proximity of the train station, and the price of the room, I would reccommend staying here.
