We recently visited Rome for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We couldn’t have chosen a better place or in a more ideal location. Easy access from the Barberini A line tube station and within walking distance to the Spanish steps and many other wonderful attractions (buses are available for the less energetic)
The hotel is on Via Ludovisi and is situated on the second floor accessed by a marble staircase or the original period lift. The photo’s on their own website are quite accurate. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated through out and extremely clean and comfortable. We had booked a double superior room but were unexpected upgraded (free of charge) to the Junior suite!
Being a corner room the bright, tall dressed windows look out onto the majestic buildings around. There was very little street noise but any just added to the ambiance.
The breakfast was simple but very fresh, with a choice of bacon & eggs, croissants, french bread, hot toast, jams, fresh fruit, cereals, juices, tea & coffee. And for the day and evening there were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, serving good food.
Our host was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable, making our first visit to Rome a fruitful one.
We would have no problem recommending this wonderful hotel and having thrown our coins in the Trevi Fountain, will be back :-)
