This review can be fourteen pages of raving about every detail...but let me save you some trouble....just book a day or two with them. I (mom) traveled w/ two teens who loved the experience. This organization and it's employees are clearly a 10 of 10 across the board. Skip the regular touristy stuff - and just tell them to "take me to places you want visitors to see" (especially the out skirts of the city). One of our best days in Italy. Aside from the history and knowledge - Francesco reads his audience well - not to mention charming (as is Noimi - his sister that does the Vatican tours). We did a "take us around day" and than Vatican and Pompei. Sure a little more money than you may want to spend - but the convenience and comfort made the time so incredibly enjoyable.

Again, do the "regular" stuff on your own (trevi fountain, spanish steps, etc.)....let them show you what Rome is all about and know you will not be disappointed. Sure a little more money than you may want to spend - but the convenience and comfort made the time so incredibly enjoyable.

We used Miles & Miles to book our shore excursions for Florence, Rome and Naples and the tours were absolutely amazing. We did everything via email and everything went as smooth as possible. We took a 3 hour Vatican tour with Miles & Miles. Karen was our guide. She was wonderful. I'm not big on tours and in our 2 weeks in Italy this was the only tour we took. But after reading about the Vatican and realizing how big it was, we decided on a tour. It was worth every cent! Karen was a great, knowledgeable guide. We loved the whole experience. I would recommend Miles & Miles to everyone.

Daniel, our driver-guide, picked us up at the cruise ship in a comfortable, air-conditioned Mercedes Van. He spoke perfect English, great sense of humor, and incredibly deep knowledge of Rome. He had tremendous passion for art & history...the perfect combination for a Roman guide.

We saw everything we wanted to and more. Daniel parked us right next to every site which really cut down on the walking. Forum, Colosseum, Pantheon, Circus Maximus, and of course the Vatican. He even took us to a fantastic local restaurant for an authentic Roman lunch...outstanding! ....and had us back to the ship in plenty of time.

We paid in euros, but it worked out to about $850 US including gratuity. The large-group shore excursions were $200 per head, and you had to walk almost everywhere and see half of what we did. After our Miles & Miles experience, i'm not sure we'll ever do a ship shore excursion again....this is absolutely the way to go.

One warning. My wife and mother-in-law swooned over Daniel all day. Good thing this guy was expert in his field. :) Could not have had a better experience!
