very impressed with Roberto and his staff...very knowledgable and passionate about their job and their cities!! very proud italian ! we girls had a ball both in florence and in rome with Gianni and Antionello..both boys were brill!! I've given their details to few fellow travellers and i intend to return to italy and will use their service again!

I was on a Mediterranean cruise with only a 1 day stop in Rome. I shared a tour with 2 other couples on our cruise and we had an awesome day with Roberto of Miles&Miles! I can't believe all that we saw in such a short stop. We first stopped to see a panoramic view of Rome and then concentrated on the ancient Roman ruins with the coliseum being the highlight. It was great skipping the long lines entering the coliseum! Then we ventured into Renaissance Rome and stopped at the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. We then visited the amazing Pantheon. This was followed by an amazing lunch at Italian restaurant outside the Vatican..the pasta and appetizers were so fresh and flavorful! The afternoon was spent with our private tour guide inside the Vatican, who was Roberto's wife. She did a great job touring us through the Vatican museum, the Sistine Chapel and finally St. Peter's Basilica. This was a day I'll remember forever...thanks Miles&Miles!!!

My husband and I just came back from the beautiful country, Italy. One of our favorite spots of our two week long excursion was by far Rome! This capital city has so many attractions that a month long excursion in this city would not be enough! Fortunately, we had the ABSOLUTE BEST Rome City tours with the family owned company, Miles & Miles. I can’t even begin to describe how helpful, insightful, professional, and friendly this tour company is! We went on a five hour tour of Rome with Francesco and saw a number of different attractions that we could not have seen on our own. We loved our tour so much, we followed up the next day with a Vatican tour with Caren and her knowledge was incredible. The only problem is they set the bar way too high for their competition! I love how they cater to your wants, and I without hesitation recommend this company!

We had one day from our cruise to visit Rome. You could be there a month and not see it all; however, we were able to see the major sites and tour the Vatican as well as get a sample of the local life thanks to Francesco, our guide for the day. His company is family owned and operated and both he and his mother (she took us through the Vatican) had a wealth of knowledge on the beautiful ciy of Rome and all it's amazing history. We started our day at our guide's local coffee shop where we experienced the best capacino I have ever tasted....(puts Starbucks to shame). We then proceeded to hit the highlights of Rome and stopping as often as we wanted. At the Spanish Steps our guide knew several of the artists personally, and I purchased a painting of the Spanish Steps that he had painted earlier in the day and happily signed it for me with a personal message on it as well. We chose to stop for a great lunch at once again our guide frequents and knows the family that makes pasta dishes from scratch every day...Francesco ordered for us and it was wonderful, along with some local wine and a very friendly and accomodating staff. We were able to spend 2 hours at the Vatican and then continued seeing several other sites that should not be missed as a first timer. Having a private guide allowed us to see more than you would with a group, and it was so nice to have someone that was actually from the city, and it was obvious that his was extremely proud of his city and his heritage. We could not have asked for a better tour and do not know how anyone could have covered more than we did in one day. Along with the regular sites we also had the opportunity to go to some very interesting sites that I'm sure most tour groups do not go to. One, in particular was a fascinating museum full of mummies and artistic features made entirely from human bones. It has a great history and fascinating story behind it. I would highly recommend Miles and Miles if you want to get a good grasp of Rome and all it has to offer. spurdom
