This gelato was so so delicious. The rosemary, lemon, honey flavor was amazing. The staff were friendly.

“Great location and gelato”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

I was looking foward to try Italian Gelato but couldn't find a spot that catched my attention. Until I saw Del Teatro. My first time I tried the store in front of the Tevere, the next one Via Di San Simone. Both beautiful places to try italian icecream and this one hidden in a perfect little roman street. Try those flavors sat on a typical chair in that lovely street, and then you'll feel the icecream.

“I don't get the high reviews”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013 via mobile

Definitely not near the best gelato in Rome. Flavors were not as good as they claimed. I tried a few before order and I was not impressed with any of them. Do not waste your time going here.

“There are mych better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013 via mobile

Honestly, the gelatto was only so so. I have honestly had better all over the world. One would expect even a mediocre gelatto in Italy to be better than the best in other countries. Find one of the better ranked ones and you will likely have better luck. Maybe it was just an off day for the gelatto chef :(

“Stumbled upon the most amazing gelato in Rome by accident!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

My boyfriend and I were wandering home from dinner looking for some gelato and saw this tiny place up a law way and decided to give it a try. The flavours were inventive and the pistachio was the best I have ever had! This surely has to be the best gelato in Rome! I also tried the fig and cheese which was great and also the pear and caramel.

Its a must try in Rome!
