“A true find in Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2011

We only had one night here but will be happy to return again to this tucked away gem of a BnB.

With only three rooms on a side street, you feel more like a resident than one of the tourist masses.

If you want to be close to the Vatican but apart from the crowds, this is an ideal spot. One caution: have a map handy if arriving by taxi. Two drivers we had needed extra help finding the small street, even though it is just a block from the entrance to St. Peter's.

I arrived around 7pm in the dark and the bell wasn't working, but Guili, bless him, was watching from the window for me and I was soon welcomed into the lovely establishment where I met Guili and Raffaele who between them run the bed and breakfast.
Situated just yards from the Vatican and easy travel into central Rome, the b&b is peaceful and absolutely perfect for business or leisure. The room was very clean, smart and warm. The breakfast - when I eventually showed up for it - was ample and tasty and seemingly available up to 10am, which was great for a sleepy head like me.
I felt very welcome there and very safe. I will happily recommend this place and will return there whenever I visit Rome.

We enjoyed our stay from the time of the arrival till the departure, astonishing hospitality, extremely friendly; you feel at home, attentiveness to every detail,… unforgettable stay.

No word can describe the hospitality of Guiliano and Raphaële, We went in family and we are moved, they become our best friends, actually they become from ours.

the B&B is very close to Saint Peter's square, with a magic quietness, rooms are refined, hearty breakfast, very clean, we definitely recommend this B&B.

stayed in this bed and breakfast for one week. I am a solo traveler from Australia on vacation in Europe.
It is the perfect place to stay for business or pleasure as it is very clean and perfectly located close to Vatican and transport to all areas of Rome
Raf and Guili are very the welcoming friendly hosts and made me feel more than welcome in their home, providing the cleanest most comfortable facility at very reasonable tariff. It is intimate for privacy yet openly friendly as well
Breakfast is fresh, yummy and timely and provided in a lovely dining room. Even my blueberry yoghurt was provided when requested
Rooms are very comfortable spotlessly clean, serviced daily.
There are many cafes in close proximity, with the the Vatican being only two minutes walk. Across the Vatican plaza there is an excellent shopping precinct
I can not fault this wonderful friendly accommodation venue which to me was feeling like staying in the home of friends
I make no hesitation to recommend this friendly, clean bed and breakfast to all travelers to Rome. You will find no other of cleanliness and value so well located in Rome

5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2010

We stayed for 4 nights in October 2010 and this place was great! Basically next door to St. Peter's Square and the Vatican, it was very easily accessible since everything is walkable in Rome! The street it's on is just off the main street, so it's a bit quieter. Being near the Vatican, the area was pretty safe and we never felt nervous walking in the area at night. Our host Raffaele greeted us and gave us the scoop when we got there. He was very welcoming. Our room was very clean and the bathroom exceeded my expectations with super cleanliness and great water pressure in the shower! The room was cleaned daily and we were always provided with fresh towels, which is nice. The breakfast in the morning was always set up nice and early and was delicious. It really saved us some time and money to eat there before we started our day. Since there are only 3 rooms, you don' t feel over-crowded and it keeps the place nice and quiet for sleeping. Also, there was free Wi-Fi, so we could stay connected to our friends/family via our ipods during our trip, which we totally enjoyed. We would TOTALLY recommend this place for anyone travelling to Rome. If we go back, we'll definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this B&B for 15 days. We were treated as friends immediately. B&B very very close to Vatican, bus stops, metro and important sites of Rome. Very clean and a hearty breakfast. Giuliano and Raffaele are great, cannot find words to describe their hospitality. They made everything possible to make us enjoy our holiday to the full. Philip & Moira Azzopardi - Malta
