“a wonderful base for visiting Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

QuodLibet is really conveniently situated for exploring Rome. it is close to the Vatican and within easy walking distance of the historic centre of the city. Gianlucca was there to greet us and offered us breakfast while he provided invaluable information about how to get the most out of our 4 day stay - walking routes, delightful restaurants and even advice on the bus. The rooms are charming and very comfortable. breakfast is served in the rooms and is just what we wanted - croissants, fruit, yoghurt and preserves. And all with a great sense of relaxation and humour. we will be going back!!

Room Tip: no need - all the rooms are lovely

Words cannot describe the experience we had at this BnB. We had read all the great reviews before and were sceptical. However, making the choice to stay here was the best we made.

We had a 5 week trip to Europe and I can definitely say this BnB was the best we stayed at! The host was very warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. As an example, he promptly printed out the lost itinerary papers we needed which was a big help. Also, the Quodlibet rooms are very new, fresh and clean. Breakfast is yum filled with fresh bread, cereal and juice and the host was very accommodating to our various times. We would definitely stay here again. This place put some other 4 and 5 star hotels to shame. Great work and looking forward to staying here again!

Dear Evan P,

what a great review! Thank you!

We are very happy that you have particularly liked our bed and breakfast and that it was one of your favourites during your 5 weeks in Europe.

Actually our property is not comparable with 4 or 5 stars hotels, but we do all we can to offer our best to our guests.

We really hope to see you next time you visit Rome.

Warm regards,

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. Gianlucca and Augustino were very friendly and helpful giving us advice and tips of where to visit and recommending restaurants. The Vatican was at the end of the street and the Metro station 50 metres away. We really enjoyed our visit to Rome and would definately stay in Quodlibet again.

I have just returned from my trip to Rome. I have stayed in QuodLibet before and now it is time for a review.
This is really a nice play because of the people running it, and for me the location is perfect. In one direction I can find "my" quiet places with almost only Italians. In the other directions I find the sights and central Rome within walking distance or easy access to metro or tram.
The B&B is located on a high floor (elevator). The street is rather busy and most of the rooms are facing the street. If you don´t like busy Roman streets, ask for the rooms facing the courtyard without a view. Tip: if you are sensitive and find the sound of a tram irritating, disturbing for your sleep, simply use earplugs and you will have an excellent sleep.
The owners are very service minded and speak english very well. They wil help you with all your needs. They are also very eager to improve, so if you find something that you don't find to your satisfaction, they will try to improve. I know because I have been there before, and I can see the changes they have made.
The rooms have the facilities of a hotel even if it is "only" B&B and are always clean. I have stayed in both the biggest and the smallest room (I am travelling solo), and the smallest room is not small at all compared to other hotels or B&B's in Rome. For me a good bed is very important and for my taste the beds are very good.
As a person from Scandinavia I have always been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day (not exactly the Italian way!), and here I find an excellent breakfast. I saw a review stating that the breakfast is not healthy. That is not true (and some people want a lot of chocolate in their croissants!). The first time I was there, and they were still "new in business", it was not so healthy the first day, but then I just asked for other things and there were absolutely no problems. Agostino is a master of preparing breakfast. Now my breakfast is: juice, kiwi, egg, low fat youghurt with strawberries, slices of fresh bread, natural croissant, butter, jam and tea. I find this is excellent for a B&B. I don't eat meat in the morning but there are sausages as well.
Conclusion: I am a very satisfied guest. I can't speak for other people, but I think that most people will find QuodLibet good or excellent. And if you need anything or have suggestions for improvement: discuss it directly with the owners. They will take you seriously. That is my experience.
I find price / value relation very good.
Thank you guys at QuodLibet. See you soon.

If you visit this comfortable hotel (there are no ads or sign on the street), the owners would welcomed you with warm smiles. They are so kind and frank, you would never be anxious for being stranger in rome .
If you need some recommendation of sightseeing spots or nice RISTORANTE, they would offer you with total smile.
Some nice delicious breakfasts they prepared will be waiting for you.

Great B& B, very clean with good facilities. Friendly hosts were most helpful with information. Nicely presented plentiful breakfast served in our room each day. Would recommend as location is within walking distance to the Vatican and other tourist interests and also close to the metro. We were given a nice bottle of chanti as a parting gesture.

Excellent location and only a short walk to the Vatican City. Steps from the Metro. Very clean, quiet, modern and comfortable accomodation. The owners, Gianlucca and Augustino were excellent hosts, very helpful and full of very uesful tips about what to see and do in Rome and where to eat at local restaurants. The breakfast was a variety of fruit, breads and plentiful. Perked coffee would be a good addition. We would definitely stay here if we go back to Rome and recommend this place to any friends visiting Rome.

Room Tip: The Corner suite we stayed in was large and sunny
