Minutes away from the Termini station in Rome, great location to the metro, open top buses, and the colosseum. The room size is standard for Europe and the newly renovated rooms, were extremely clean. The bathroom was lovely and I agree that the shower stall is on the smaller side, however I live in the middle east and thats just the way the shower stalls are it seems. As americans we are so used to having so much more space. The space was not an issue by any means at all.
The staff was really very nice. I had not put the location on my map before the trip and then forgot to also put it on my paperwork. I had an "idea" of where the hotel was. I asked 3 people..one did not know, the second man at the barromeo hotel (what a nasty nasty man...) and then a man at the Saturnia ...he actually googled it for me and told me how to get there. Really nice thing to do. ... our first taste of Rome.
During our check in the staff told us that we could get reservations and ask them any questions. Which we did over the next few days and they were wonderful with the information.
The continental breakfast was fair, the coffee was not that great and the fruit was canned, yogurt came out of a machine. There was lots to choose from but it was fair...and I wish they had a coffee/tea service in the room...other than that ...it was really very nice, Very very very clean, which is a deal breaker for me.
we were in room 403 and there were restaurants below us. We could not really hear them except when the musicians came out and the singer...for their nightly trip from restaurant to restaurant. All in all it was a nice place to stay.
Thank you.
we had a nice stay.
