We stayed for two nights at this recently renovated hotel which is deemed 4 stars but which is really a 3 star by North American standards. Our double room was quite small, with only a closet and a desk and chair besides the bed(see pictures). The bathroom was modern but the shower stall was very tight, and would pose a problem for a large person. One of the glass panes fell off the track the first day, but caused no injury. It was not attended to promptly by the hotel staff and remained a problem the next day.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Termini train station, which also houses the car rental agencies which we walked to easily with our bags. The clean, newly refurbished rooms, excellent noise insulation, good quality air-conditioning, and varied breakfast selection made it an overall good choice for the 100 euro nightly rate (tax included).

Terrific location. We are walkers so we were able to go anywhere we wanted from the hotels central location. We wheeled our suitcases from the train station (3 minutes) into the hotel. Room was a good size for european standards. It was updated and modern. View wasn't that great but we weren't there to look out the window. Breakfast was average and there were lots of choices. I am not sure if garbage day is every day but it seemed like it. 7AM we could here the garbage being picked up. Staff not overly friendly but efficient. All in all, a good hotel.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. Guest rooms were modern and well appointed and looked new - not sure when the hotel opened. Great location in walking distance to the train station and sigh seeing busses we used for two days to see all of Rome. We did not make it to breakfast either day so cannot comment on that. Room & shower were small but consistent with our others hotels on this trip. Internet was not free at this hotel. Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again if in Rome.

Pros:
- photos of the hotel are not deceiving
- convenient location, we walked everywhere, including going to vatican city
- room is quite big, could comfortably walk around the bed
- shower pressure is very good
- loved the vanity
- loved the coffee (the best we had in Italy), it looks very black, but it's very good, we put a lot of milk and it still looks quite black, we made our coffee with 2 part coffee 1 part milk
- toiletries are replenished everyday
- bed is comfortable
- variety of breakfast is not bad, breakfast room is comfortable

Cons:
- it's awkward to sit on the toilet, because half of your thigh would end up under the vanity
- shower doors don't close tightly therefore floor is always wet
- shower is a little small, but this seems like european standards
- when we're there early May, the A/C is not yet on, we're told they're on the switch-over mode, and they had no fan for us, luckily it was cool enough at night so we have the window opens and have the problem solved. Unfortunately we're on the 1st floor (the floor above main storey), so we're worried about people climbing in, and it gets noisy.
- breakfast (scrambled eggs) not hot enough at times
- our double bed is weird, not only it's 2 single beds pushed together (which seems like european standard), each bed is made separately - 2 single bed sheet, and 2 separate comforters.
- it would be nice to have a full length mirror in the room

We're not on the street late enough to comment on whether it's safe at night. We're usually back at the hotel around 8:30pm/9pm, it felt ok. But generally it's not bad walking towards Republicca, but doesn't look very nice going the other direction.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with a nice size of room, and it was only 3 mins walk from the hotel to Termini (very easy to get around the city night and day). Hotel staffs were very helpful, and their morning breakfast had lots of choices. Internet fees was bit high. Take bus #175 from termini to St. Peters, #40 to Spanish steps and the famous Fontana.
