“Superb! Exceptional! Lovely!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

My 18-year old niece and I stayed at BB360 for 4 nights and we had a great experience. Marcello is an incredibly welcoming, gracious, knowledgeable and friendly host. Our room was clean and the air-conditioning and shower worked beautifully, and our queen-sized bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were a feast and they kept us energized for our long and full days exploring Rome. Marcello arranged a shuttle to BB360 from the airport, which was also helpful to us. The cost was either 35 or 40 Euro (can't remember); it was cheaper than an airport taxi. We also had the use of an ipad, which was helpful for checking email, weather, train schedules and additional information on Rome (or back at home). BB360 is in a good location. It is close to a Metro stop and there is good dining options and wine bars in that area. Marcello recommended we try "Italo," a new train line in Italy for our travel from Rome to Florence (its been in operation for 1-2 months) and it was a great recommendation (we also used Trenitalia's high-speed trains from Florence to Ancona and I wish we had switched to Italo). Marcello also prepared a happy hour for us two evenings that we stopped back at our room and it was some of the best food/wine we ate in Rome--no kidding. He is a passionate person and chef. Grazie mille Marcello! We will never forget you or BB360, and I will be sure to let friends and family know about BB360 if/when they ever make plans to travel to Rome.

What a great little B&B in a superb location near the Vatican. The owner Marcelo is a most friendly chap and will make you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. He organised us an airport shuttle for €35 which is less than normal fares.
The breakfast was second to none and a chat with Marcello about the day ahead and some advise on how to get about was very useful. He even supplied us with an ipad for some self help online and gave us some books on the sites around the city.
Marcello had a happy hour with some wine in the evening and a few snacks which were a great start to the evening prior to heading out.
BB360 will certainly be our base in Rome when we return.
Grazie Mille Marcello!

We just returned from Rome and spent two nights at BB360. The location is great, very close to the Vatican and walking distance to all of the major sites...it is also right by a Metro so if you do not feel like much walking this option exists. The room decor was contemporary and was very clean. We had the smallest of the three rooms and it was still more than big enough for two people traveling with two suitcases each. Breakfast/leisure time can be spent on the top floor terrace. This place is incredibly serene and the smell of Jasmine growing there will be with me for a long time. The breakfasts are AMAZING. The service is AMAZING. The operator of the B&B (Marcello) has an incredible heart for people and we were overcome with his kindness and desire to make the stay positive. When he heard it was our 25th Anniversary he prepared a cake for us. He is also from the area, so he can provide sound suggestions for dining etc.. This really was a superlative experience! In brief, we are very thankful to have stayed there.

We stayed at bb360 for 5 nights and on arrival Marcello insisted we move to a larger room for 3 nights due to a late cancellation. As per other reviews breakfast is at the upper end of what you would get at most b&b's and Marcello goes out of his way to help with bookings. He even used his own credit card for a train booking online when mine would not work. On our last night we were even fortunate enough together with the other guests to be treated to a Marcello home cooked pasta dinner. It is the extras like this that makes marcello's one of the great b & b's.
If ever back in Rome it would be the first place I would be looking to stay. Marcello's recommendation for a great gelato was also spot on.

This is a wonderful little 3 room B&B with a delightful terrace above. But what makes the experience is the host, Marcello and his team.

Marcello is a designer and like things just so. You can see this attention to detail in the wonderful breakfast they create in their postage stamp kitchen with ingredients fresh from the morning's market. It continues through their recommendations for places to see and things to do on to his recommendation to on where to eat and have gelato afterwards.

We highly recommend this as the place to stay in Rome and intend to do so ourselves the next time we are there.

We booked this hotel for its excellent location (just a block from the Metro and only a few blocks from the Vatican), but what surprised and pleased us the most was our host. Marcello made us feel completely at home with sumptuous breakfasts and lots of extra touches. I will definitely stay here again!
