we booked this hotel an hour before getting there on laterooms.com, because the flaminio village we were supposed to stay in was so awful we checked out after 10mins. therefore my mum booked us this back in the uk while we travelled into the city. the hotel is a few metres away fromt he entrance to the vatican city museum, we could see the doors from our window. Hard to find but ok if you go by street names, just a small name on the doorbell, but don let this fool you. you go up through an old apartment block, and there is a big glass door with the name on it. a beautiful intrior, lovely decoration. our room was lovely, extremely clean throughout the stay. beds made everyday. we never saw or heard anyone else. this place is a huge apartment converted into 6 rooms. the bathroom looked brand new and was lovely. big LCD flat screen tv on the wall. dressing table and wardrobe. big heavy curtains. breakfast was lovely, a little room where a lady made great coffee for you, there was meat, cheese, cereal, pastries, juices. all very nice! the place was spotless. excellent location, within walking distance to basillica, plenty of backstreet restaurants, we didnt have one bad meal all the stay. great location to 2 metro stations. I loved this place and would love to come back some day!

The hotel is a renewed house, modern with perfect rooms, great beds and bathrooms and TV. The people of the hotel are very kind and they make great capuccino. The breakfast has very quality things to eat (the croissants are perfect). The place of the hotel is very good (50m from the Vatican Museum) and 5' from the Metro.
Conclusion! When you visit Rome, select this hotel.

P.S. When we went, there was no signing outside of the hotel, just a name on the door bell. Do not let this scary you. The hotel is great.

The Papa Vista was more hotel feeling than Bed and Breakfast. Great bedding, bathroom, and flat screen TV with American television! Centrally located, close to the vatican, and safe area. There is no sign on the building for the B & B, but if you have the address you will find it. Our room faced the street and it was quite noisy with traffic. Ask for a room on the backside if possible.

We stayed three nights at this small hotell, established only 8 months ago.

We were very pleased with the hotel itself and the service was friendly, helpful and efficient.

The hotel only has 6 rooms and it's in the 3rd floor in a residencial building.

You'll have to ring the bell to get in the first time (after check-in you'll get the code for the front door) , but once you enter the third floor, you'll be positively surprised by the modern and welcoming design.

The rooms are big and nicely decorated, including a big flat screen and a lovely bathroom. The internet (fixed and wi-fi) is included in the price. To find such a lovely room in Rome for under EUR 200 a night was great (we paid only EUR 130 per night in mid-September). A decent but simple breakfast with excellent coffee was also included in the price.

The second great thing about this hotel is the location; 20-30 metres frem the walls of the Vatican..where you enter the Museum (everybody should know that this museum is a MUST in Rome).

If you then add the personal and friendly service to the quality of the room, the location and the excellent price/quality, you'll have a perfect spot for exploring the delights of Rome...........
