“Highly enjoyable.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2009

Belive what you read-- Suite Dreams lived up to and exceeded every expectation I had. The hotel is impeccably clean and neat, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The bathrooms and bedrooms are large, with ample storage space for suitcases and clothes. The free Wi-Fi was an added bonus. The included daily breakfast was delicious and filling. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk away from the Colluseum... a half hour to the Spanish Steps. It's not extremely close (walking distance wise) to any of the major tourist attractions, but if you take the metro there is a metro stop a couple of blocks away. The hotel is not really in a touristy area, and is on a quiet street, both which add to the charm and greatness of the hotel. However, If you have a lot of bags, be aware that the elevator up to the hotel is quite small.

I've traveled all across Europe and Asia on several different occasions and typically stay in the 3 stars with occasional 4 stars and this hotel tops them all with regards to value for money. Great modern rooms, soft linens, new fluffy towels, Awesome bathrooms/showers, Digital TV with a wide selection of entertainment, free WIFI internet (almost unheard of in Italy) a 5-10 min walk to the train station and a 20 min express train ride to and from the airport. No need to deal with cabs or private car hires. Breakfast had real Kellogg products (premium brands) and not the homegrown stuff. Toaster was broken, but I can give them a pass because they had everything else. Nespresso Machine for coffee (I have one at home and this was a nice touch)
The staff was fantastic and answered all my questions and went out of their way to getting train schedules, Restaurant bookings and sightseeing tips.
One thing, they did not have in room hairdryers, which was strange, but I did not ask if they had any at the front desk.
Lots of different restaurants in the area for different budgets, the restaurant downstairs was great but a bit steep in price.

We stayed for 3 nights on August 31, 2009 and absolutely loved it. The staff at SuiteDreams is excellent, great service, very friendly and always with a smile.

The rooms and the bathrooms are decorated in a very nice boutique style, with stylish details, large mirrors, good lightning and with enough space to move around. The WiFi is free and there is also a guest PC available.

The location is perfect as the distance to Termini station is walkable even with a bit of luggage. Repubblica metro station is very close.

Breakfast is also good.

When we tried to book a room for 2 nights, they orginially did not have the room we requested for the first night (twin room). We were really eager to stay in SuiteDreams due to all the excellent reviews and the tripadvisor award. To cut the story short, they gave us a triple room with a double bed and a single bed for the same price. The staff at SuiteDreams is excellent, great service, very friendly and always with a smile (they seem to enjoy working there).

Suitedreams was excellent. We stayed for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. The hotel is in a perfect location, close to sites and transportation. The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us get soccer tickets for the opening game of the Serie A season, reservations to restaurants, and directed us to several good restaurants and sites. Check their website, because if you book through there you get breakfast included with your reservation. They also give each person in the room a free bottle of water per day, a nice perk.

We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel and had a very nice time there. The rooms are clean and good size. The service is excellent. Our reservation didn't have breakfast included, so we only ate one morning at the hotel. The breakfast is typical Italian, some Croissant or toast with cheese and ham. An own Espresso machine! Everything good tasting.
The location is also good. 150 m from Piazza Republica Metro station, and in the center of Rome.
The only thing we were not satisfied with was our rooms location, just opposite to the reception. Our room, G, were adjacent to the reception desk, so if you are a light sleeper, you might wake up by talking in the reception.

I will also recommend a visit to an local pub/bar/restaurant "George Byron"at the corner of Via Napoli and Via Nazionale, some 100 m from the Hotel. They have very good food from 8 in the morning until evening. Kitchen opens in the afternoon first at 18.00.

We highly recommend SuiteDreams when you go to Rome

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Suite Dreams this past July, and could not have been happier with the choice!

As the other reviews state, the hospitality is fantastic. We arrived several hours prior to check-in and then left our bags at the hotel after we checked out in order to get in some more sightseeing, and the staff could not have been more accommodating either time.

We found the location pretty good overall; it was not a bad walk from the train station or to the subway, and many sights are walkable if you are up for a longer walk. Tucked away on a side street, we actually felt like we saw more business people than tourists in close proximity to the hotel, which was a nice change from a couple of the other cities we visited on the same trip.

Additionally, the amenities are great, and our room was like a little oasis during our whirlwind tour -- something that is often difficult to find in cities and for a good price. I would recommend this hotel with no hesitations!
