Suitedreams is a small (9 rooms) boutique hotel. It was a bit hard to spot off the street since there's only a small 5" x 10" sign on the front of the building. The hotel is on the second floor, there is no door staff, bellman or porter to meet you or help get your luggage upstairs. There is an old lift so you at least don't have to lug bags up more than a few steps into the building lobby. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful at check in. He made us a dinner reservation and called a cab. Now the best part, our room was very nice, much nicer than expected. Very large by European standards with a clean, fresh, modern look. Probably a 4+ if not 5 star room.
There is a mini bar in the room with sodas and water but no restaurant or kitchen on site. No room service is availible. So very bare bones on amenities. On our second night the air conditoner in the room broke and the front desk clerk was unable to fix it. After 15 minutes of trying he brought in a portable A/C unit. This would have been fine but in order to use this portable unit the exhaust has to go out the window. This means our window would be wide open (so not sure how well the air would have worked with the window open) The problem was that there's a very loud cafe right below the room so the street noise was worse than the heat. We just had them take the A/C unit away. Nice effort, but not a great solution.
Overall I would recommend Suitedreams because the room was so nice and clean, just be aware not to expect any standard hotel amenities.
